For a while anyway.

Why is everything around me going in and out of focus as if it’s the beginning of a fantasy sequence?

I love the eps where he’s talked in another voice. My favorite was the alternate future in which he’s a hippie version of Castiel.

Dean: Are you stoned?
Castiel: Generally, yeah…

I kind of liked parts of the episode -
but …
and I realize this is my fault for missing some of the beginning of this season while I was catching up on the previous seasons …

The “Mother of all Monsters” plot really isn’t coming together for me. I get the idea and it’s kind of cool but it feels very “not ready for primetime.” There are details that have not been entirely worked through and it shows. And the war between the angels is happening off stage too much. And again, I know that it’s due to budget concerns &tc. But the stakes aren’t personal enough for Sam & Dean and they aren’t directly involved enough for impersonal stakes and it’s also just falling a little short for me.

That’s the same exact problem I’m having. It’s like Castiel pops in for a few minutes of reporting on the war and then he pops out again and Sam and Dean get on with the business at hand.

That being said, it was cool when Castiel engaged in the knife fight with the female angel and staked her. Castiel’s quite the badass when he puts his mind to it, isn’t he?

Anyone see the horseback riding for Sam and Dean? Anyone?

Same rode a horse out of town to get to Colt’s place. He looked inexperienced, IIRC.

Heh, thanks for reminding me, Saltire. Soulonoscopy. Bobby is the best.

In the episode where Sam and Dean came into the reality where Supernatural was a TV show there was a huge bigger-than-lifesize picture of Sam on horseback at Jared Padalecki’s mansion. Anyone know if it was from this episode?

I looked for it the whole time, but I didn’t see any scene that it was from.

I think the picture was taken from Sam’s Wild Ride to go get Sam Colt.

I noticed last week that Castiel practically had a title over his head that he was on the road to hell paved with good intentions - this week confirmed it.

Come on, people- Dean’s a “posse magnet” and no one bothers to mention it here?

Well, Season 7 has been confirmed. I have a feeling nothing is going to get resolved anytime soon.

I saw that and it’s good news. Eric Kripke, who actually came back to write the season finale, said that he put a cliffhangerish ending in assuming they were renewed.
