A glimmer of sanity from the Supreme Court, for once. West Virginia lunatic AG sought to block a 12-year-old trans girl from participating in her school’s cross-country and track teams because … well, just because. Even a 12-year-old child apparently is not insulated from the foul ravings of abhorrent, mindless Republican hate. I believe this is called “family values”. 
The two dissenters from the SCOTUS ruling were (no surprise) Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas. These two actually make the rest of the right-wing segment of the court look almost sane by comparison, which is a damn scary thought.
