I liked that the jury noticed that Shambo was completely in the dark with this vote.
I also liked that Dave said he’d be shocked if the vote went the way he wanted it to. If the jury was smart, they’d have picked up on that - showing that no one in the Galu tribe has been beyond flipping on thier old tribe members.
He did, and I was surprised too. But then I paid close attention to the actual vote, and they all voted John out. I have no idea why, but they did. Shambo voted for Dave, John voted for Mick, and everyone else voted John.
At one point, wasn’t Monica upset that John flipped on Laura? Did she not say something to the effect that he needed to be gone for not being trustworthy?

I’m astounded by the inability of any of the Galus to think more than one vote ahead. They could have called all the shots from the minute the tribes merged, but as soon as they decided to get cute and turn on Erik, I had a feeling they were going to piss all their power away, which is now exactly what they have done.
John may or may not have made the right decision by flipping on Laura (I’d have been afraid of the colored rocks too), but Monica and the other Galus voting him out for it was unquestionably the wrong thing to do.

They’re idiots. It’s just a pity that Shambo – surely one of the dumbest people this season – hasn’t been voted out yet. I find it incredibly hard to believe that she’s a marine.

I don’t understand why they didn’t get rid of Dave (aka Mick Fleetwood) first to appease Shambo and then target John. Why piss her off now? Even though I don’t like her, it makes me uncomfortable to see people ostracized.
The problem with Russ is that he will be targeted by everyone now. There’s no one that wants him in the top 3 because he’s such a smart player.
Am I the only one who, when Jeff said, “I’m holding up a power play in the next immunity challenge that will give you a clear edge over the others.” would have screamed, “$500!”?? Seriously, people, why are you there if not to win?
I’m also amazed that Dave and Brett let Natalie win two things while they sat empty handed.

I love when people say, “I’m sooo much smarter than those other people.” on their post-ouster interview. Dude, if you were so smart, you wouldn’t be sitting there. I think John could have done much more to appease his tribe. “Listen, you can be pissed off at me if you want, but remember that by flipping, I might have saved your ass, too.”
Can’t be positive, but I remember there being “advantages” given out in the auctions before that were not a huge help. Not that I still wouldn’t have bid on it.
