No Survivor thread yet? You guys are slacking off!
So, any ideas on what’s going to happen tonight? I think Christa will get the boot, although I would lovelovelove to see it be Jon. Jeff Probst has said that the Big Lie wasn’t known to the contestants while they were on the island, so that leads me to believe that Jon doesn’t get hit with any fallout from that as far as the play of the game is concerned (although the Reunion show will be a hoot!), but I’m wondering just how long the sympathy will play out, given Jon’s oh-so-abrasive personality.
To me, the “big lies” all came from Sandra. She lied to Rupert about scheming to give him the boot with Trish. And she lied to the group and hung Christina out to dry after she petuantly threw all their fish away.
Jon is a thousand times better then Sandra.
Unfortunately, the female Boomhauer of the group gets the boot tonight instead.
All I want for Christmas is for Jon to be voted off…
But the ads on TV hinting of some plot against Jon lead me to believe he won’t get the ax. Burton could be minced meat if he doesn’t win the IC, and that could mean trouble for Jon-Jon next week.
Let’s see, we have Burton, Lill, Jon, Christa, Sandra, and Darrah, right?
I think Burton/Jon/Lill are pretty tight for right now. I think they are most likely to vote for Christa, though Jon would love to vote for Sandra.
Christa, Sandra and Darrah should vote for Burton and try to get Lill or Jon to join them. I don’t think that will work, though (Lill, for one, would not vote for him). They may end up with a tie (which I’d like to see).
My prediction is that Burton, Jon, Lill, and Darrah will vote for Christa.
I tend to agree that they probably should split along those lines (Burton, Jon, and Lill versus Christa, Sandra, and Darrah) and could have a tie. But I predict that Christa or Sandra (or both) will be stupid again (like last week) and vote with the others and get rid of Darrah, placing themselves firmly in a minority.
I wouldn’t put it past Sandra to make a move against Christa at this point, using her lie about the fish against her. If that doesn’t happen, I think Darrah will go, since she’s been isolated.
On another web chat board, someone posted a screenshot of the CBS.com website. On it, it said that tomorrow night’s David Letterman guest is going to be Burton.

I’m just amazed that the women are naiive enough to think Jon and Burton aren’t in total control. They need to get rid of both of those guys quick. But it’s pretty clcear that Sandra is out next week. Maybe it’ll get interesting after that.
