Survivor 46 - open spoilers

What.

In the LITERAL HELL

Was That!

Does the man have a non-medicated brain injury that is only coming out now because he’s starving? Does he have the IQ of a postage stamp?

Now, if we find out beforehand that this was a strategy to get Tevin out, then more power to him. But from the reactions, I don’t think it was.

This man… Failed at quitting!

I just… its… ::sigh::

Could you imagine Rob or Sandra or any other great player not sending Q out immediately? This is not a player you can rely on. His ego is so massive he’d rather quit than not be in charge of the vote. Quite the contrast from Venus who gives herself credit for engineering blindsides she had nothing to do with.

You know she’s going to hunt down the two votes for her. LOVED the scene where she walked up to the group and TOLD them, fricking TOLD THEM, to hurry up so she could talk with them. I mean… Damn. Gutsy. Totally against gameplay.

Then again, its only been two weeks.

My wife said this exact thing (except she said Rob or Parvati). It was idiotic not to send him packing because…

Un-fucking-believable. I did love the bewildered look on his face when others chose to do what they wanted. Mob boss? Ha ha ha ha ha ha
What a joke. And the beauty of it is he had no plan at all. Just do what I say.

That tribe deserves every bit of the upcoming clusterfuck headed there way.

Where’s the popcorn?

Yes, to her detriment I bet.

There is a limit to what you can learn from hide and seek, even if the lesson was clear after the challenge.

But next week is hopscotch. That’s the game which will unlock Q’s strategy.

I was literally LOLing at the way the others were screwing with Q when he tried to get them to play the alphabet game – and he never seemed to realize they were mocking him.

They don’t need to rely on him anymore. His game is done. Might as well keep him around because he’s no longer a threat.

Q’s blathering about his interpretation of how others played hide and seek and the “information” that that provided was laughable. Yeah, you’re a freaking genius.

mmm

But if somebody is volunteering to quit, why didn’t they just say “thanks! Makes things easy!” and send him packing?

Q has rapidly dropped to the bottom of my list in terms of likable players. Please kick him out!

They sort of hang waved this away by saying he was part of existing plans. But this is bullshit of course because he will be a continuing source of disruption. Even when he was “in charge”, he changed his mind frequently on a whim. There never was “a plan”.

I wonder if the blame belongs to his parents. I mean, really, Quintavius??? He was doomed from the start.

That’s nothin’. Do you watch much football?

I am not sure. I think a couple of them didnt understand how it is played, and Q with his ego, didnt bother to explain the rules first.

That was providing some laughs.

OK, I’m finally caught up, and I’m confused…

Wasn’t Q’s plan to get out Tiff? Did I miss something?

I thought what had happened was a big group of non-team-Q players (a solid majority) had decided it was Tevin and Q didn’t want that; he wanted Tiff (because she had the temerity to mention Maria, even though Tiff was his #1 all and still hasnt’ shown any sign of betraying him). There was still a bit of a question about whether Charlie and Maria would stick with the Q’s plan and vote Tiff, but it seemed pretty clear that wasn’t going to happen (not the least because they didn’t have enough votes…).

So what the hell was up with him “explaining” to Tiff that he had to do the whole “vote me out” ploy because if he didn’t they were coming for her? Wasn’t he coming for her? And then Q voted for Tevin anyway?

Also, why was Liz so pissed at Tevin for laughing about Venus thinking it was her idea to get out Soda? From what we saw it actually was Tevin’s idea - Liz just went along with it. And it’s not like he was taking credit with the tribe or anything; it was just a joke between the two of them. Very strange and seemingly petty reason for throwing out a player that should have been a strong ally.

Old Nami has now lost the last two players and the original tribe breakdown is now 3/3/3.

It looks like a group of Ben/Liz/Maria/Charlie/Kenzie could work as a solid majority, with Venus as an easy goat to keep around as an extra vote. Depends on if Kenzie has any attachment to Q/Tiff or if his shenanigans have soured her to that. Liz certainly seems to feel no attachment to old Nami at this point.

Finally, Hunter is in big trouble if he doesn’t keep winning. I don’t see anybody there sticking out their neck to keep him around, and one of the other “big threats” just got voted out. He better have that idol ready to go the first time he doesn’t have immunity.

Liz did come up with the idea a episode or so ago.

Yeah, but they all figure his social game is crap, and other than venus- while he was still part of her team  -* wanted him out.

  • you NEVER vote off a physical winner player until after the merge.

But she didn’t put it into action. Anyone can throw a name out.

Yeah, her grand idea was “I don’t like Soda.”

Mom and Dad were running out of names. One of the early episodes Q said he has 17 brother and sisters.

IMO, “Quintavius” would be more common name than “Sodasia”.
