Not that I thought they were completely isolated from civilization or anything, but it amuses me that there’s a 5-star resort about 2,000 feet from the Tribal Council area.
Why?
DEI or something?
Only God knows, and when I ask Him, He simply shakes his head sadly and turns away.
Yeah, likely because of a supposed DEI pick.
They are deplorables. Sadly their handbasket to hell is overloaded at this time.
“and when I ask Him”
Him? and you are assuming all “MAGA People” are like him?
whatever
Uh, I don’t think you read that correctly…
What the hell are you talking about?
I am pretty sure he didnt.
I disagree that she’s one of the smartest players ever. I’ve just rewatched the season, to me, she didn’t have a single original thought about strategy. She just coat-tailed Joe.
I don’t know or could care less what MAGA people think. Why would you think I would?

This is what I read (correct me if I am wrong

Mahaloth: Why? DEI or something?

Please, no more tangents on the “MAGA people” or DEI, this is Cafe Society.

She solved several tough puzzles before others or when others couldnt. She won her very own- without Joe- Immunity challenge, and picking Joe to be a friend got her second place prize money. Pretty smart to me. Not to mention she is going for a PhD.
This was one of the very best- if not the BEST- three player endings since they started. Every other time that I remember, there was one clear winner, one second place (with one vote), and one no hope total loser dragged along just so that the #1 got all the votes. Any fan would know the result before Jeff even opened the big jar. This time all three deserved to win- but as Kyle did “Outwit”, he was the best of the three. Note that Kyle didnt get nearly all the votes- Eva got two and Joe got one (Joe, was a challenge monster, which in the old days of Survivor might have won, but now the jury is looking for Outwit more than Outplay. )
But dreadfully boring to watch.
Face it you like backstabbing, and 'big moves" and i like- likeable players. I dont like “villians”, and Boston Bob needs to get off TV. Whenever they bring back a “villain” it turns me off. Fortunately, we only kinda had one- Sai, and she didnt even get in the jury so we will hopefully never see her again.
IRL Survival, last thing you want is a villian, you want team players.
Reminder: Survivor 50 cast is going to be revealed on the CBS Morning show on Wednesday.
There are spoilers in Reddit, if you cannot wait.
Having peeked at the cast on Reddit, what surprises me the most is the number of castaways.
There are 22.
Some experts have cast grave doubts on that spoiler.
I liked Eva at the beginning of the game, but then she became so coddled and self-righteous. Her anger at someone else eating coconuts when she ate better than everyone else there is what really turned me against her.
That’s huge assumption on your part - and a wrong one. I like strategic players. That’s the whole premise out the show - “Outwit, Outplay, Outlast”, it’s the tagline. It’s the “out” part that’s important. No where do they say Outloyal.
It’s a a game for stakes. You are expected to be competitive. That’s what the viewers tune in for. If you are playing poker and you raise large despite having a nothing hand, are you “backstabbing” the other players? Or are you being strategic to win?
By your own definition, Eva backstabbed David and Shauhine. Why doesn’t that make her unlikable to you?
What the hell does ‘real life survival’ have to do with this TV reality show?
Same here. I liked her at first but she wore thin pretty soon after that.
I’m sorry, but no. The only immunity challenge she won was the “pair up” challenge where you had to work with a partner to get to the end. One guess as to who her partner was.
I don’t remember who did what on the team challenges, she didn’t win a single individual puzzle challenge.
There’s no denying that Eva is intelligent, but “one of the smartest players ever” is a big leap.
