But its not really a get-out-of-tribal-free card. They really missed out on all the scheming and team building, which can hurt their games. I’m pretty sure there were some agreements they missed out on.

Dee, Emily, and Cirie are dead to me after voting off Colby. Coach was already in my “hope they vote off early” group.

I missed how the tribes were split up, how some gained immunity, and how two people were selected to do whatever it was that they did. Guess it’s not worth trying to stream the beginning just to see that.

And yeah - I’d love to have seen Coach get voted out, and then Colby pulled for Medical, yet put on the jury. That would have been interesting as heck to see how that story played out.

  1. Tribes split up on random, offscreen draw.
  2. 2 people split up - At the start of the show, a boat came in, and gave them a note. It said there’s a secret hidden in the jungle, go find it. Ozzy found it - it said Surprise! you have to go to Exile Island. And you have to take one other person with you, you have five minutes to decide. So, he chose Rizo, as he thought Rizo was a threat.
  3. Hi, Opal!
  4. There was a wall-hanging competition - Three teams of five. Each team’s winner received immunity. The final team to fall received an Applebee’s reward dinner.

Sorry, my bad. I guess more happened in the first 20-25 minutes than I realized. I didn’t think the immunity challenge began until at least the second half-hour.

I wish they had brought in the entire group for the three vote-offs. I would like to see what three the group consensus was.

Genevieve might be the Schleprock of Survivor

She finds two Hidden Idols but has to give them to other contestants (Ozzy, Rizzo) on other tribes. On the first tribe swap, she doesn’t get swapped with any of her first tribe allies or Ozzy. and she gets swapped on the same tribe as Aubry who is definitely working against (and has an idol). Then she gets picked in the five person group with no allies and Aubry in the group.

Feel Badly for Colby, wish it was Coach voted off.

I think this was the first time in a long time that I watched the whole show and didn’t skip through most of the talking. It made me come to really wanting Coach voted off. What a self-righteous prick. He’s replaced Rizzo in my “Please let him be the next to go” position.

My dark horse candidate to win is Chrissy. She’s had practically no airtime whatsoever and sometimes that’s a hint that they’ll be a finalist or eventual winner.

God, Coach is annoying. And so full of shit. But his haikus actually weren’t bad.

Another great episode! Another commendation for the editing on this - The show was paced well, focused on the conversations, and really was involving. I didn’t do any Zach Brown fast-forwarding :slight_smile:

  1. I’m really proud of Johnathan standing up for himself, and supporting his voting position. “You lied to me!” “Its Survivor! Everybody lies!”.
  2. I was expecting more of a reaction from Rizo when he found Colby was out.
  3. I’m still kind of shocked that the only bonus from Exile island was NOT going to tribal. I expected.. more.
  4. I’m really surprised Stephanie lasted so long in the challenge. She just spent an hour with her arm in the air, and then was in a competition … with her arms in the air. I think that if she hadn’t gone on the challenge, she might have won immunity.
  5. Rizo and Cirie are the damn cutest ever. LOVED it.
  6. I’ll admit it - I was blindsided. I thought for sure Coach was gone. Great misdirection on the show’s part.
  7. Great job on Ozzy’s part. I though for sure Joe was going to win, as he was so steady.

Loved the whole episode.
