Agreed. The smart play for Monica is to do that exact flip next week, not this week. Same situation no matter who returns.
Yawn…I knew when Haydon started playing like it was Big Brother, he was toast.
imo Redemption island should’ve finished this week.
This sunday redemption island is not gonna change anything because it will still be three on one side and two on the other.
A good twist would be to bring not one person from RI but two people.
Now that would make things interesting.
THIS! As much as I hate RI, this would make it worth the lessened effect of Probst saying “the tribe has spoken” and snuffing out a torch, without the player actually leaving.
The tribe has politely suggested, but of course you can veto this decision later. It’s…Canadian Survivor!
This may end up being the worst Survivor ever, or at least in serious discussion for worst.
It started well enough, with Rupert and Colton getting shit-canned right off the bat as should be, and the new format shaking up the voting strategy which was desperately needed.
The “loved one” shakeup worked for a while, but by the merge it was meaningless, as the teams with a loved one left had one, if not two, completely useless member(s). The one thing I think first when they bring in the jury is: “I wish these guys were still playing and the players were on the jury.” Aras and Vytas and the mysterious Caleb are far more compelling than anyone else still playing. Candice, despite her prickly personality, has smarts and athleticism and game-playing ability and she never got to display any of those things when she got tossed out at the get-go.
Tyson is kinda fun and is running the show, but not in the way that tall skinny Texan did in “One World.” That was masterful. Tyson just takes the lumps of clay he is left with and molds them and shoves them through whatever shape they need to pass through to keep going. Gervase has convinced himself he is playing the game, but he isn’t. He’d be long gone if not for Tyson. For someone so strong physically, Monica is playing the coattail rider role to a “T”. Laura Morett is impressive, but it is like being the best hitter in Triple A. Let’s see her against Major League pitching, but of course we’ll see that for a couple of days if that. The others aren’t worth mentioning.
Last night was pure boredom. Everyone knew what was going to happen and no amount of producer misdirection could change that. The immunity idol was gone (no surprise) although it was available a week earlier when everyone else was looking for it.
Ciera has the final immunity challenge (endurance) in the bag although no one will figure that out, and if Tyson makes it that far he will certainly get voted out, leaving the most useless and undeserving final three in Survivor history. Bleagh.
Merry Christmas!
Tyson found it last week.
That’s what I said. It was available last week until Tyson found it.
Disagree. What if Gervaise wins II next week?
BTW, how about Ciera winning that challenge when she was the last person to start on the puzzle!!
Katie cleaned up very well on the Tribal Council jury. Haydon said she looked hot.
Gervase has no chance with this jury.
Genetics.
It’s a good thing the season isn’t broadcast until months after filming. If Kat saw that episode after she was voted off but while filming was still going on is would have been a dagger through her heart.
When Hayden said Katie looked hot my immediate thought was “Katie is deserving of his affection because she made the merge, right Kat?” heh.
This was exactly what I was yelling at my TV as Ciera and Hayden were trying to run Monica over at Tribal Council.
My estimated probabilities of winning:
Tyson: 65% (wins if Monica doesn’t vote out Gervase at the final five TC)
Ciera: 15% (has a great case if she makes it and will have fans on the jury)
Gervase: 10% (needs to vote out Tyson at final four)
Monica: 5% (her best chance is to vote out Gervase then Tyson and then point to individual immunity wins)
Hayden: 5% (has a decent argument against Gervase and Monica)
Laura: 0%
Tina: 0%
I still think it’s risky to assume someone won’t win II. You strike when you can. Gervase was vulnerable this week, maybe he wins immunity next week. Since Monica knows Tyson has HI, she can’t just switch her vote to him.
Yes, but most of the jury is comprised of people who are pissed at Tyson. I think she has a better shot going to the final 3 with him v Hayden.
No football delay. It is actually airing on time!
well that was boring… now the final three tribal council coming up…
The producers need to find a way to break alliances somehow otherwise its juts a bore fest till the end.
Tyson wins!
Yes!
Please ask Colton zero questions and ignore that he is there. He is there, isn’t he? I would fully support not inviting him if they didn’t.
He’s there and they are going to talk to him. Yeesh.
