picunurse I wept like a seven year old girl who had just lost her favorite doll when my niece walked down the aisle on the arms of her father and step-father. Ok, so it wasn’t a screaming temper tantrum but it was tears. More importantly I survived the big dinner/dance with open bar afterwards. It was a party!

This looks like it’s coming together really well thanks to the efforts of our fearless leader.
Not sure where I stand yet - there’s a family trip to Leavenworth that’s been talked about for some time, and it looks like hubby, my BIL, and my FIL will be getting time off in May for it. I don’t know what the details are just yet, so I’ll have to get back to you guys on that as soon as I find out for sure.
Well Den Mum says she’s up for the underground tour, if she takes enough ibuprofen (bad knees), so what’s the schedule on that?
And, how long does it take these days?
I haven’t done the Underground Tour in years, so I’d love to come for both that and dinner. I’d also love to see everyone again. Plus meet swampbear, of course.

However, you are quite correct…it DOES deserve the highest priority. But, my family is just a tad bit higher on the scale, and…there lies the rub. If I lived in the Seattle area, it wouldn’t be an issue…I’d work it out and BE there. BUT…I live two hours north of Seattle, and I have an aging father who requires…this and that. (I won’t bore you with details) You are going to get in late in the afternoon on a Saturday, and I don’t know if the plans are going to allow dinner and the underground tour at a time I can do both, or even either. I’d like to, though. So I’ll try. I really DO want to meet you. Very much.

My plane is due to arrive at 11:07 AM (gotta love those exact times!), so if all goes well I figure I’ll be at the hotel between one and two that afternoon.
