How is the server Zhar Levin doing? Granted I logged in very late (+8 GMT), and I only see less than 3 or 4 people on Alderran.
Just a head up that there is going to be servers in Oz; I am not sure if I am transferring. Supposedly the ping to Australia is worse than that to US West Coast.
I’m usually on earlier (6-9 server time) and it seems fine – I didn’t play last night but on Monday we had about 42 Imperial side on Taris. I don’t think I’ve seen fewer than 30 or so in a planetary zone. The population on the server selection screen says ‘Standard’ whenever I’ve checked, same as most other servers.
I’ll be playing tonight if anyone wants to get together for heroics or a flashpoint. My Imp healer is 38 and my Republic tank is 30. Absent other offers I’m going to try to find groups for the Imperial Taris heroics, since I’m about finished with the bonus quests.
Just a heads-up: Patch 1.2 is promising some changing regarding customization, especially of the UI, the lack of which has turned a lot of people off.
In other words, if these changes prove useful, and Bioware continues to update like this, I and a lot of other players should be pretty happy campers.
It’s kind of hard with us spread over two guilds and all different levels, but is anyone interested in scheduling ‘guild time’ to play together? Missions, heroics, flashpoints, whatever. I have a level 41 healer (Imperial) and a 32 tank (Republic). I’d also be willing to roll an alt on either side if folks just want to level together.
I normally play M-W-F nights, I think 6-8:30 server time (it’s a West Coast server right?). Sometimes Saturdays too. My family is going out of town next week for a few days so I expect to have a lot of playing time Sun-Tue. 
Is anyone active in the guild anymore? I picked up the game on initial release but shortly after took a temp position working 90 hours a week so no game playing happened then. Now I’m back to an normal schedule but my gaming friends have all moved on to other games again. It seems star wars doesn’t have much staying power.
In any case I’m still enjoying the game and will finish off leveling my first character, then I’ll probably play through a few more to see the story lines. If the end game is as I’ve heard described I won’t be looking to participate much there.
I’m pretty much looking for people still playing the game to keep me company. I have a few other options but I figured I’d check here first.
I’m in the Empire-side guild as Norsablab. I’m typically on during the week from about 8:30-10:00pm Eastern, and randomly on the weekends (though I tend to evening hours).
When I’m on, sometimes I am the lone guildie; other times there will be one or two others. It could be more on the Republic side.
I’m leveling up to characters at the moment, one Imp and one Republic, and I tend to switch between them about weekly. They’re 42 and 45 right now. This week I’ll be playing my Imp toon, mostly. Let me know (Xet) if you need an invite.
Hey, someone who can, log on and create us our Guild Bank tonight. I’m an Officer, but it doesn’t seem to want to let me do it (or I don’t know how).
I read the guild bank needs a guild with 15 members, do we have that?
I was looking for guild bank options last night for our Imp guild - I’m the GL on that side so I assume I should be able to do it. Do I need to go find the appropriate NPC or something?
I’m going camping tonight and won’t be back until Sunday – so if an officer can set up the guild bank go ahead; otherwise I’ll do it on Sunday for the Nineteen-twenties Death Star.
OK for a guild bank we need 12 members (I think we have that on both sides) and 600k credits. Our Imperial guild doesn’t seem very active, but if anyone wants to contribute to a guild bank let me know - I’ve only got about 125k right now and I haven’t bought Speeder 3 training yet. I assume my funds will grow more quickly know that I don’t have to pay for training every level, and I can start selling some crafted gear.
Also, I saw Cyberhawk and… Nintaya? online last night. I’m going to work hard on getting my Vanguard up to 50 quickly so we’ll at have the core of a FP group if we want to start scheduling regular guild events.
Having just bought my tier 1 speeder and training, I don’t have much cash. I’d be happy to commit 2/3 of the cash I have, but unfortunately that doesn’t amount to much - perhaps 10K.
As much value as a I think a guild bank would have (I sell off tons of useful stuff that I’d rather donate), 600K seems a lot.

Well, if anyone wants to donate any amount to the bank for the Imperial guild, you can send the credits to me (Xet). I’ll put in the guild notes how much folks have donated so you know I’m not blowing it all on enhancements and hookers. Once we have the 600k I’ll make the purchase. I’ll check my personal balance tonight; I can probably chip in 50-75k to start with.
Is anyone going to be around tonight? It would be fun to do some heroics or FPs with guildies. I’ll be logged in on my trooper (48) but I can switch to my inquisitor (50) as well if anyone is around.
I wasn’t around last Friday, but I do want to run the FPs (in hard mode)since I missed most of them the first time through.
I see that Skammer’s Republic Trooper has hit 50, maybe we should look into trying to find a night to get together for some fun.

Cyberhwk (sage) is online often. I don’t remember if he is healing specced or not. I think he’s done most of the FPs too so he would be able to guide us in the unfamiliar ones.
Mondays work really well for me. I can also do Wednesdays, and usually Fri/Sat nights. I literally just dinged 50 so I might have to do a few high-level FPs in regular mode before I’m geared enough for hard modes – I guess. I don’t know what the minimum requirements for HMs are.
With alts and everything we’ve got over 40 I think.
DAMN! Didn’t realize it was that much money. I’m sitting on 730,000 at the moment so I would be willing to pitch in 200,000 or so. I could float us a loan if we come up short for the rest.
What does the 600K get us, does anybody know? Do we have to spend more money on top of that to get multiple pages like our personal banks and stuff or is that the whole deal?
Save your money. I had 1.9 million before the Legacy things dropped. It’s a lot of money when you’re leveling, but not once you’ve hit 50 and developed your skills. The Level 50 dailies can pay 7-8K+ per mission. I think you can make 100,000+ per day just by finishing up all the Daily Missions once you hit 50. And that is why I want the Guild Bank too. I’m swimming in gear that I can’t use and my alts can’t find anything within 5 levels of them. I’d love to post them to the bank instead so someone else could use them.
Yeah, I’m Heals. I actually missed a lot of the early FPs since I leveled almost entirely solo.
And I’d love to get a regular group going. It has been hard as hell trying to get pick-up groups lately. Especially trying to find tanks so you are going to be a huge asset. You do need some gear for HMs IIRC. A lot of people run Taral V because it’s supposed to be the easiest and a bunch of the content is actually completely skippable. Only the PD-44 Droid boss has ever given us problems IIRC.
I’m on a ton so just give me fair warning so I can clear my evening when you guys want to do it.
ETA: If people need geared, lets get a group together and start running the dailies. At 8000 a pop we could be clearing 300-400K a day between us NOT counting all the Level 50 gear you get that could help gearing for FPs. They’re boring as hell solo but can go lightening fast grouped up.
I did start doing the Ilum dailies yesterday, as well as what appeared to be a non-daily mission chain (“Crystal Ball”). I had problems with one of the bosses bugging - I failed to kill her and she despawned, so I couldn’t proceed.
As far as the guild bank, I spent amost all of my money on level 50 skills and speeder training (I still need to buy a level 3 speeder). But I’ll be able to contribute more after a few days of dailies.
