I don’t think we should bother putting green items in the vault at all. Just about anyone will get better gear by doing missions - greens are usually useful for vendoring or reverse engineering. I’d save our vault space for blues and purples, and useful mats and recipes.
People could put green items in there with the intention that they would be vendored with the money going to the guild – but it’s probably more practical to sell them yourself and just donate the money. It saves the vaultmaster the work.
I should have posted this earlier, but it’s Monday so I’ll be around by 9:00 if we want to try another FP. Usually I tank and Cyberhwk heals, so we just need a couple of level 50 DPS to join us.
Another reminder, 10 ET/ 9CT/ 7 PT tonight we’ll run a guild FP (Republic side) if we get enough participants - we have a regular tank and healer so anyone can come and DPS.
There’s a lot of talk about gearing and I guess I should have orange and farm mods or purple Rakata/Columni/Black Hole gear and stop crafting my own? There are a lot of guides out their but I don’t understand a lot of the differences or even how to get the gear. With the GTN as feeble as it is, there’s not a lot of help there.
I just want to farm the dailies and get money and drops for my other characters. What should I do to get my level 50 gear?
I’m not the best one to answer - since hitting 50 I’ve been sporadically farming dailies for the mods to my orange gear (and the money) but I’ve spend most of my energy on leveling my other alts. I keep hoping our guild will get to a place where we can start farming hard modes for everyone.
It will be easy for me to get in groups as a tank once the group finder goes live, but I’d rather practice taking on my guild first until I get some confidence.
Just a bug question. I’m a Jedi Sage in vivicar’s ship… got killed, respawned on the wrong side of a force field, and the objective is to activate the terminal which is now on the other side. I tried to create a ticket. In the meantime, anything else I can do?
