Taaa daa! Here's yer spankin' new MMP!

Irked, saw Mirror. Mirror, went and played bar bingo.

Congrats, giggi!

Yay for a working PC, Spaz! And Night Audit husband needs to be thrown into a pool of staving rabid weasels.

The only appropriate response to that is:
Ttbbbbbbbhhhhhhhhhhhhhtttttttttttttt!!!

Do we have images from the photo-finish camera? Is there PED testing? Was Chad hanging?
Is Spidey insinuating scandal in Mumperland???:eek::eek:

I was thinking Sam.

I’m sick! Ackk! I went to the doctor and he agrees it’s probably just a cold.
I can’t breathe. I cough and cough, then cough some more. He gave me narcotic cough syrup, but it only helps a little.
He also gave me an antibiotic in case it’s pertussis, we’re having a major outbreak. It can’t be pertussis, I had it 6 years ago and I had the immunization 2 years ago. It sounds like pertussis.
He didn’t culture for it because I’ve had the cough for 7 days and the bacteria is only viable for 3 days before symptoms and 3 days after symptoms begin. The cough lasts for months. Another name for it is the 100 days cough.
I don’t want to be sick any more. :frowning:
He also told me I can’t go to the pool until I finish the antibiotics. If I don’t keep exercising I’ll lose all the ground I’ve gained.
I’m sad and cranky and just want someone to say “Oh, poor you.” Well, hubby says it, but he has to go to work tomorrow.
OK, I’m done whining.

Gratz, 2gig!
I have a feeling this morning is going to be completely unproductive. Bleagh.

OTOH, yesterday I left a long list of “products which may be obsolete” with a very nice gentleman who was sharpening his metaphorical axe as he set out to “straighten up” his boss. The boss wants to preserve some current features which the subordinate hates; since it’s the subordinate who has to input the data, I’m rooting for him. The subordinate has some 30 years on the boss, and it’s also some 30 years more of being in this company; watching him hack at the boss is sort of like watching a sergeant very politely telling an officer that said officer is being an ass.

I’ll have mine in a size 4.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis 67 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 91, just like most of the week will be. Yay for Summer!!!

gigity congrats! It is a big deal. You are now our Mumper celebrity!

{{{picu}}} poor you! Hope you feel better soon.

Spaz I say what ever the creep has Night Audit Lady should own. That includes his underwear and socks along with all sundry worldly goods and possessions. The underwear and socks would just be for giggles. She should take him to court and leave him standin’ there nekkid when she’s through. Plus yay for a 'puter that makes noise again.

Ok, I need a little more caffiene and to feed rumbly tummy. Then I need to get purtified for irk, alas. Ima go into irk early to take care of a couple of things and then go ride the north forty.

Happy Tuesday Y’all!

Congratulations Giggity!

throws confetti

Blurf.

For your morning dose of EEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWW!,

This morning, I found 2 ticks on me; one was shockingly close to the ol’ wedding tackle. They must have come from the dogs, 'cuz I haven’t been in the weeds.

Yesterday, I interviewed for a lateral move within the company. That was the roughest interview I’ve had in many years, and I have no read on my chances. Please cross appendages for me.

That is a huge deal! Congrats!
Crossed appendages Bobbio!

Up, caffeinated, off to irk.

BBBobbio, ewwwwww. Tick free appendages crossed.

{{{{picu}}}}

BBBobbio appropriate/inappropriate appendages crossed.

We have new phones at irk. They actually function properly. Will wonders never cease! Even better I have a cordless phone. Now I can walk around and talk on the phone at the same time. Da bear likes that idea.

ETA: First on two!

Way to go, giggity!

Sorry you’re sick, poor baby picu. :frowning:

Bobbio - crossed fingers for you!

Work is overwhelming at the moment - plus I have to check everything that Incompetent Slacker Guy does.

Blurf.

I concur Rebo work is overwhelming. I still have no laptop so my to do list us piling up and I am starting to stress over it. Plus have to constantly play clean up for two other people is exhausting.

Another day of daytime TV for me and I am bored out of my mind. There is only so much I can do on my phone! I do need to go tie a couple of my tomato plants up to the stakes to give them some support. That will break the monotony somewhat.

I have a whole bunch of baby tomatoes and 3 baby peppers in my garden of pots. Yay!

Forgot to add congratsgiggity that is a huge deal

Congrats giggity! That’s a big deal in my book.

Work is more than overwhelming for me at present. I stayed late last night and will be doing so the rest of the week. I’m becoming more and more angry at having to clean up a four month mess and it’s literally sucking up every minute of my work day, which puts me further and further behind. I have three more months long projects in line behind this one (a four month project that I’m supposed to have complete this week and just received).

Oh! Looky here! Yet another business case analysis request just came in my email, so add four more projects. I don’t know how I’m supposed to complete all of these, PLUS my daily, weekly, and monthly reports, plus the additional data calls without literally working 24/7.

Add to that Ms. Useless who is now playing the “I refuse to work AT ALL” game, and I’m about to snap.

There is NO light at the end of the tunnel for me. The hiring action to replace my co-worker hasn’t gone out and won’t for quite some time.

Seems our problem with rabid animals here in southern MerryLande getting in to the local restaraunts has hit The Drudge Report. BTW, my squad took the call for the lady that was bitten.

Irk is indeed irksome today. Well, the irk is not so much irksome as two of the people that I am expectin’ to do certain irk. GRRRRRR… First is the one who has yet to complete two tasks that needed to be completed last week. Mind you, these are not mind bogglin’ monumental tasks. Both of ‘em combined could be done in two hours even factorin’ in at least forty-five minutes worth of starin’ off into space or postin’ on one’s favorite message board. GRRRRRR… The second is for the person who made me drive 46 miles out of my way to pick up some records she should not have had in the first place. I get there and it’s all, “know what? I must have left 'em in another place” aka the place I was on my way to when she called to tell me they were in the wrong place.

Repeat to self, over and over, [del]most of my staff appear to be psychotic hosebeasts[/del] it all pays the same, it all pays the same, it all pays the same.

I killded the MMP!

I’m feelin’ better now. Special note to MOOOOOOM: I feel better because I had me some Sonny’s BBQ.

Yay,** Tugig**!!

I had my evaluation at physical therapy today and I must say this is the most hopeful that I’ve been about this so far. Most likely this is due to the facts that a)he acknowledged that there is a problem with my knee and b)he thinks he can fix it!

So, I’m a happy camper who is currently sitting here with ice on my knee and some fancy schmancy tape on it as well that is supposed to remove bruises. He was actually excited because he’d never gotten a chance to try this tape before.

StickyBuns that sounds like a good day. First the PT thinks your knee is fixable. Second, you got a man all excited.

Bite me, bear! :stuck_out_tongue:

Home at last. My mom gave me a carload of plants, mostly daylilies, plus a giganto cucumber and a big zucchini both plucked right out of the garden. She also had 2 bags of yarn for me, and she took me to lunch, from which I am still mega stuffded!!

**FCD **is now delayed till Firday. He took enough clothing for a 3 day trek that has now become 5 days. That doth well and truly sucketh. Oh well…

Before I forget, megacongrats, Tugig!!! That is way cool! And to think, I knew you when you were a nobody!

That’s about all for now. It’s 81° and I still have the house open, but I fear I’ll have to close up tomorrow, since we’re promised 90s. If **FCD **was home, it’d be closed up now, but I can tolerate the heat a bit better than he can, so I’ll continue to be frugal. Plus there’s ice cream.

BBBobbio, ticks are ick!!! I had one crawling on me the other day. It got a burial at sea. Stoopit ticks. I will spray myself down good tomorrow before venturing out to plant my lilies.

I think that’s all for now. I need a shower. And ice cream. Hope all and sundry had a good Tuesday!
