Taaa daa! Here's yer spankin' new MMP!

So hand him an egg & tell him it’s his “soup starter kit” :dubious:

Camp Nanowrimo is coming along, although I doubt I’ll ‘win.’ At about 22,000 words, 5800 of which I typed yesterday and today from stuff written over the last week.

Hell yes.

Today has been… AAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!

Unfortunately tomorrow does not get any better. The upside is in a month several very troublesome program participants will be gone and will be replaced with people who really want training and will follow program rules. How do I know this you ask? I know because I am personally going to handle every enrollment and every placement. This, folks, is why it is called irk.

The thermostat at da cave is set on 78 in the Summer and 68 in the Winter. Woe be unto anyone who even looks at the thermostat much less dares to change the setting. 68 is fine in Winter around here and I have ceiling fans and oscillating stand fans to create a wind chill effect in the Summer so da cave is comfy, even as I post.

gotti you are way nicer than I am. I would have said fine but don’t be surprised if the chikin soup looks like a chef’s sallit. It’s a new recipe.

gigity yikes! Glad you were able to set up a payment plan.

Everyone else, I read but retained little, so yays, boos, hugs, smooches, noogies, trouts, chitlins, wedgies, how you doin’s as needed.

What does it mean, “gigity yikes”?

Translation: “2gigch1, that is a mighty painful phone bill she stuck you with.”

Well, that’s a first. I’m used to finding bits of hornk here and there, and she’s gotten better at avoiding the hard-to-clean carpets and sticking to the easy-to-clean vinyl floor; but in my den I found a particularly disgusting present. Fortunately it was dry and easy to pick up and throw away; but she’s always been good about using the box. I hope she’s okay.

Dinner epilogue: He re-changed his mind before I went out for chicken parts, and we had salads as originally planned.

Just as well as it was 93 degrees today. Too hot for soup!

Worked, made dinner, more work tomorrow.

giggy,

I live in a quiet neighborhood. Many nights I forget to lock the back door. I know my neighbors. Some are young couples, just starting life and some are retired. We wave, and talk when we see each other. My neighbor next door sometimes mows our lawn without being asked. We all shop at the same supermarket, and on Thursday, we go to the local farmer’s market. It’s a nice neighborhood.

Today, not so much. Two people were shot a half a block from the farmer’s market. Seattle seems to becoming the old west.
It makes me sad.:frowning: And yes, my door is locked tonight.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis 72 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 94 with a high UV index. Imagine that! Sunny, hawt and a high UV index. Mayhaps I should carry a parasol today.

picu yikes! That is scarey. It’s pretty peaceful around da cave but I do keep doors locked at night. However, it sounds like you have a good 'hood.

gotti I take it you took the opportunity to go all soup nazi. Never miss a chance to go all soup nazi. No soup for you!

I need more caffiene and brekkie for rumbly tummy. Then, alas, irk purtification must commence. I get to go check out the east forty today. I am also hopin’, against hope I fear, I can make it a short day and get outta there midafternoon.

Happy Firday Y’all!

Well, dang - I forgot to turn off my computer last night. Dummy!

Off to move the boat. Happy Firday!!!

Firday is my Thursday.

picu, yikes. Of course I lived in da Hood for 13 years, and there were only a couple of shootings. (today’s forecast: muggy with a 30% chance of light small arms fire)

swampy, pics or it didn’t happen.

rosie, Gordie hornked last night, too.

Fishing on Tangier Sound off Deal Island Wednesday night.

It’s Friday, I’m going to have to do a bunch of work over the weekend (unpaid), which I shouldn’t have to do but it’s one of those cases of “if I don’t do it, other people’s lack of foresight will make ME look like shite”, and my coworkers are making more noise than a kindergarten class.

When is quit o’clock arriving! I need my quit o’clock!

I need quit o’clock too Nava. However, in my case, it shall be an early one. YAY!!! After I finish up in the east forty, I am headin’ to da cave to “irk from home.” Ok, I probably will but it will be some paperirk stuff. No phone calls will be answered. No emails read or replied to at all. That’s what Mondays are for.

doggio  Pics or what didn’t happen? I can’t remember postin’ about any nekkidness or debauchery that is pic worthy.

gigity looks like a good time bein’ had by all.

Off to the east forty.

Laterz!

Seems like it’s my turn in the ol’ rain of shit.

MiL is in hospital. She went in Wednesday because she was vomiting blood. Lots of test the last couple of days, heart and other issues. Last night she suffered a stroke. Am waiting for daughter so we can head back down to the hospital.

Good thoughts would be appreciated, guys.

Oh geez Taters ((((hugs))))

I think I may need to give my mailman a map.

Apparently the mail for me and my neighbors wasn’t sorted right as they made three loops of the cul-de-sac to get everyone’s mail into the right mailboxes. At least that’s what it looks like they were doing.
