Up and caffeinating here; still amazed at the Derby results but love that jockey Calvin. 
I must have been channeling Mooom last night, because I had a dream about a crush from 35 years ago; haven’t thought about him in a very long time, needless to say. Very strange. 
As Mooom noted, it did rain last night so it’s damp and cool; we’re supposed to get rain for the next few days too. At least it’s not hot and humid, I guess. Enjoy your Sunday all.
Not too much sleep- got up at 8:30 after finally conking out at around 4:30.
Funny acustics in our neighborhood- two lovely teens were sitting at the cul-de-sac by our house, and they sounded like they were talking our bedroom. Clear enough that it woke my and I could understand what they were saying. Our drive way is almost .1 miles, so the acoustics are weird!

Went fishing this morning, and caught a crappie nearly as big my tackle box 
:D. Yes, that’s the name of a real US game fish, pronounced ‘croppy’.
Went to a house fire yesterday. Some moron blocked the driveway of the fire station with his car, so arriving crew could not get in to park. If only crew served machine guns were legal on private vehicles in the US… :mad:
Time for the obligatory Sunday nap before VWife starts cracking the whip for me to carry out her nefarious plans to strip, clean and rearrange the master bedroom today. Her plans know no bound to my labor or wallet.

BTW, please feel free to holler if you need company/sympathy/leftover BBQed goodies. There’s nothing on my agenda today that can’t be put off to another day.

We shall have a new permanent, full-time Priest in August. YAY!!! He’s a baby Priest, only thirty years old. He presided last Sunday and has been called by the Vestry and approved by the Bishop. He graduates from seminary this month and has been serving as an assistant at Grace Church in NYC. He and his wife are from Jawja originally and want to come back so it’s an all around win-win situation. His wife is a pharmacist so she’ll be able to find a job in nuttin’ flat. They’ve actually been down to scope out houses and have found a couple they like and will begin the negotiating process for one soon. Why, yes I am happy and babblin’ on and on…
