Sleep lots today, rigs. Here, have some tea and toast. When you’re feeling up to it I’ll make some brownies, but for now stick with swampy’s tea/chicken soup/mashed potatoes.
Bob, I just asked Mr. Lissar, and he says it’s because he’s good in bed. Oh, dear. That isn’t a challenge or anything.

I am wearing a longsleeved tshirt today, but it’s white, and it’s light, so I’m alright. I’m actually a touch cold in the shade… but hot in the light. It’s like I need to stand on the border between the two to be comfortable.
Growl! Not tshirt, a button-down. I’m sorry. (and it has neat textury stripes.)
Now I am all confused. What is donkeybear wearing? A white stripped button down tshirt? I think I may need some mashed potato chicken soup tea. Or a beer.

Anyhoo. Today is more General Relativity and then the ritual watching of Fight Club. And by ritual I mean showing it to my friend who’s never seen it before. :eek: Can you believe it? I was stunned. And now for something completely different, today’s Cheese of the Day:

I just had some Ramen noodles with egg (and Parmesan chees sprinkled on top).
It was nummy.
Can’t stomach the thought of a beer (I like beer about twice a year–real hot, but not humid summer day, maybe).
Kids home soon, and all of them are off tomorrow (lazy teachers).
Current Events: Hey, my Dad got to read the Bill of Rights out in public at a protest in Memphis recently. He sent me the photo. Cannily, he used his middle name, so as to throw off the goon squad…heh. My parents were too old to be hippies, but I think they’re making up for lost time.
Bah! Where did today go?? Suddenly, I’m busy! This is so unusual. It’s good, but it’s weeeeeird.
I got a call from a staffing co. in Mpls. They think they might have a job for me (full time, permanent, not temporary) at a bank doing the kind of thing I do now. So that’d be good. So I may be going to Minn. very soon! :eek:

All in all, not too terrible a day. I learned some new stuff and got some stuff signed off, and with a little luck, tomorrow our webpages will be uploaded. No, you can’t see them because they’re classified and stuff. And, frankly, they’re pretty boring. But it’s how I do my part to keep the world safe from democracy. Or something…
FCD is getting frustrated because he’s not healing as fast as he’d like, but I see bits of improvement every day. His impatience is his worst enemy.
Today is lovely and spring-like, but it’s going to cool down for the weekend. If it’s sunny, I may go out and gather fallen wood, or maybe hack back some forsythia. It’d be nice to spend some time outside. Nicer still when spring gets here for real.
