One thing that surprised me is that they have Douglas Adams at 6’5". I had no idea he was such a giant!
And Conan O’Brien is 6’4" (at least, that’s what Wikipedia says).

Many top action TV/movie stars are a LOT shorter than you’d expect- among the few who are actually tall: James Arness, Clint Eastwood, Tom Selleck, Fess Parker.
It’s almost a cliche to hear people say “I met such-and-such-celebrity, and he’s really a lot shorter than I expected.” One of the few celebs that I hear the opposite about: Bill Clinton. I’ve never met him, but I’ve heard from numerous people who have, “He’s a lot bigger than I thought he was.” Published reports vary, but he seems to be about 6’2"

Richard Kiel is 7’2 (and has a daughter who’s a former beauty queen)
Night Court’s Richard Moll is 6’7.5, an inch shorter than Everybody Loves Raymon’s Brad Garrett.
Fred Gwynne, best remembered for Herman Munster but also a classically trained stage actor, a graphic artist and bestselling children’s book author, was 6’5.

The music video for “You can call me Al” comes to mind. Well, according to imdb, Chevy Chase is 6,4 long. Not to mention that his birth name is Cornelius.
Bill Murray is 6 foot 3 or so.

Can’t be 6’2"; I distinctly remember him being slightly shorter than me and I’m just about 6’1", I think (185 cm. roughly). He is definately taller than I had thought, though. Come to think of it, I can’t remember another celebrity I’ve met who was taller than I’d thought–Mike Patton, for example, was positively miniscule. Also… six feet is tall now?
The cast of Night Court (Og, I miss that show) was well staffed with tall actors.
