Tardis Teapots (look what I did!)

My friend, who happens to be the person I got for our group’s Secret Santa, posted this link on Facebook. I thought it was awesome, but it’s almost ten times the price limit on our exchange.

So I Googled Tardis Teapot and came up with this cute idea.

So I hied over to Paint Your Pot, found the identical teapot and cup set, and painted away. It’s kind of hard to get a good picture of the finished product because it’s so shiny, but thesewill giveyou an idea.

I think it came out pretty well, given I was kind of making up the technique as I went along. Also, I discovered that if you want to make something nice, especially with lettering, you need to bring your own paintbrushes. Still, not bad for $18!

I think that was incredibly sweet! So much better than buying a SS a box of chocolates and some bath soap.
