I don’t see how being able to absorb radiation would make him more capable of handling a breach in hull integrity.
I will only attend if there is oil involved.
I’d attend if 10 W 40 was involved.
I was going to complement you in a logical sequence based on some actor being in both shows, but like me, you’re fan wanking.
BSG’s Hoshi could kick Enterprise’s Hoshi’s ass.
It might be fanwanking- but wouldn’t Nana Vistor’s characters on Battlestar Galactica and Deep Space Nine work for mswas’s theory?
And for the original question: Kara Thrace, no question. But Yar’s Romulan daughter, or whoever Sela was besides a Romulan played by Denise Crosby, would come for revenge.
Eww, I was thinking more like Jojoba or something.
Hey what can I say? Star Trek is the pansiest of all Sci Fi universes.
How about Ro Laren & Helena Cain? I’d give the fight to Cain, but I love me some Ro in a Starfleet uniform.
Give my vote to Starbuck. How many times has Lee punched her in the face, and her response is to just give an annoyed look and punch back? How many seconds before Tasha hit the floor if Lee punched her? What if Richard Hatch hit her? What if Katee Sackoff & Dirk Benedict were in a fistfight? What’s happening to my geek brain? It’s malfunctioning…
I’ve got it! Before the Kara/Tasha main event, there should be an exhibition match:
Seven of Nine vs. T’Pol in the decon room from Enterprise.
Catsuits off, ladies–prepare to get sweaty!
Next up: Bester vs. Chekov.
Bester hands down. More evidence in support of my theory. Bester wouldn’t even touch Chekov and he’d be on the ground drueling and convulsing faster than you can say Nuclear Wessel.
Bester would make Chekov scream like a little girl.
Q could make Bester be a little girl.
Heh, but he’s a God. Not really fair.
Yeah, but Sheriden would tell Q to get the *hell *out of his galaxy.
Pffft, like that’s hard. A stubbed toe makes Chekov scream like a little girl.
Okay… Next Generation characters versus their Gargoyles counterparts.
Spock’s toughness level is hard to pin down, because he doesn’t like fighting. But clearly he’s so much stronger than human that the it’s not funny. In “Bread & Circuses,” when he’s forced to be a gladiator, he’s simply toying with his opponent the entire time, despite his opponent’s greater familiarity with the weapons–or, rather, he’s trying to disable the guy without using the neck pinch (so it doesn’t look like cheating) or killing him (which is probably tougher than it sounds).
In hand to hand combat though I think Thrace would win. I can’t think of anyone but Worf or data thould seem like a formidable hand to hand opponent and Tasha never struck me as being particularly badass at all.
The real challenge should be ***Major *(or Colonel, at least in the last season of DS9) Kira vs Thrace or Yar. I think kira could easily kick Yar’s behind and even Thrace. (Thrace would probably fight dirty, but as a former resistance fighter, Kira probably would too.)
