Don’t let some of these people get you down. However, I also realize that at least part of your frustration has nothing to do with the SDMB. Regardless, take the time off, go out and do something relaxing, and realize that you have friends and allies here!
I’d like to be another person saying thanks to techchick for all she’s done. So many people here just visit this board and take, techchick’s one of the few who has repeatedly done things for this board. It’s maddening how petty twits turn the gifts she’s given us back against her.
Amen to all of the above. Techchick, the banner in memory of Wally brought tears to my eyes the first time I saw it. Thanks for using your talents to give us something to remember him by.
Techchick is one of those rare people that really gives more to others than she does for herself: She’s busted her ass for this place, and I’d like to add my voice to the multitude of Posters who appreciate it.

Seriously, you know when someone is hurting bad when they make a post like the one I read from techchick. It just proves what a fallacy the old “sticks and stones” adage really is. Words do indeed cut deep. I just hope the Great God of all things electronic ensures that the toerags responsible suffer a hard drive crash or motherboard melt-down.
