I miss you when you go away. You add a distinctive spice and zip to this board, and your zero tolerance for bullshit and way with the English language makes my heart sing sometimes.

Damn, DDG, you beat me to it. I was going to start this same exact thread with nearly the same exact title but went off on vacation before doing so.
I love TC, because she is a lot like me (read that however you want). I am happy when I see her posting here, but especially when she posts on my Board. She doesn’t take shit, is strong, emotional, passionate, witty, and smart. Because of some of these same qualities she and I had some friction early on, but now are (I hope) great chums.

I love Techchick. She is the sweetest most caring thing, one of the many compasionate people on this board.
She gets too much flack here IMO because when she has an opinion she sticks to it, she’ll let you know about it too. God knows she will not back down.

Over and above wit, acidity and lucidity, which she exemplifies, Techchick is from Colorado. Speaking as a fellow Coloradan, we need all the representatives on this board we can get. We are so completely outnumbered by you “flatlanders”.

She makes me laugh. She pisses me off. She reminds me A LOT of a woman I once loved. Generally, she leaves me feeling confused but strongly affectionate. And I miss her when she isn’t here.

Damn, I was considering starting a thread like this a few hours ago while out walking the dog, then forgot about it. Well, since it’s here, and it seems like the place to be for the cool people on this board, I might as well join and and say I like her too.
She’s my internet sis.
Scotticher said it for me. Plus TC shows a fierce loyalty that I find very admirable.
I know that Techchick has been a figure of some controversy here, but I have admiration for someone who is willing and brave enough to speak her mind so candidly. Others have noted her dogged loyalty to her friends, and I agree with the assessment. I place a lot of value on loyalty myself.
Even though I ended up not going to the Vegas Doperfest, I was on the mailing list for it, and I would be remiss if I didn’t comment on the tremendous amount of work Techchick put into that.

I don’t hate anyone here. I admire and care for more than I have issues with; those I have issues with I try not to let that cloud my judgement when something makes complete sense to me. That thread was a good example.

She is one of my favorite posters, there’s been times when I’ve finished reading one of her posts, you know the kind where she picks apart some idiot’s logic and puts her own special touch to it, and just sat there and said, WOW.

Thanks imthjckaz, I like my snort too. I started that back in 1995 in my favorite AOL chat room…I will not give up my snort cuz I can and do snort when laughing. Not a particularly sexy habit but gets some people giggling even more.
