Teeming Millions: what's your IQ ?

My NQ (Nerdity Quotient) is 32.6. The last IQ test I took was on the Internet (I realized that it’s not really valid unless administered by a trained professional. Bla bla bla.) I scored a 159. It’s a keeper. No more IQ tests for me.

155 on iqtest.com
159 on the Czech test

1440 on the SAT
34 on the ACT

Yes, I have absolutely no life. =B^)

Of course I don’t fit in; I’m part of a better puzzle.

Thanks Diane! Now I feel like I need therapy… :frowning:

Nerdity Quotient: 37.2 (closet nerd)
IQ.com results: 162

They’re lying! I’m not a nerd! I’m not a nerd!

Nerd Test: 194/500 (closet nerd)

However, if I changed the “Do you” questions to “Have you” questions I got a monumental 396/500 (I need serious help, which as an aside is something I have know for quite some time)!

For example “Do you own a reverse Polish notation calculator?” to “Have you owned a reverse Polish notation calculator?”.

And now to prove my nerdiness (or as my wife calls me “her techie-geek”), I feel obliged to point out the test is extremely dated. References to 14.4 modems for example. Or haved you ever used a fax. Computer with more than 1M of RAM. Etc.

What more could you expect from somebody who lets people kick him to the head?

BTW, Coldfire said

And Canada, México, etc.

And please, stop telling us that you’re not a native English-speaker. Your English is VERY good, so you have no excuse!

32.8 on the nerd test
117 on the czeck IQ test- the last question wasnt even in ENGLISH!!
and 137 on the Iq test I found at iq.com.

137…wooo hooo, I AM NOT STUPID!

On the Czech test I scored 159. That seems to be quite popular for that test from what other people have said. On the iqtest.com test I got 153. I also got a 1520 on my recentered SATs.

Just for the record, you might consider that the standard error for the test at IQTEST.COM is really, really high. So the results aren’t very meaningful.

I just took the test, clicking on answers randomly without reading the questions, and scored a 132.

In fact, since they are trying to sell you a report, and since most people aren’t going to buy a report that shows they are stupid, it’s entirely possible that the test is rigged to make everyone look like a genius.

Your humble skeptic,
Dan

If we’re sharing SAT test scores, too, I got a 1600. But this was after the recentering…

And I got a 32 on my ACT. I took it as a sophomore in high school…but that’s when I took the SAT, too.

I think test scores are something that don’t mean much, and can be fun when you don’t take 'em too seriously. Some people I know are much too impressed by good test scores, and don’t realize how many factors affect your intelligence…

Nope. Illinois. At least out acronym was better than the one my nephew is in–his is GAT.

My NQ, btw, is 25.20%, 126/500.
And, just to join the club:
SAT 695 Math/730 Verbal
ACT 32 composite

Last time a took an official test was in kindergarden. The county tested up to 175 and refused to continue! Remember, I am from Tennessee, so half of the people here can’t count to 175!

LOL, Girl Next Door! Hooray for a Ralph Wiggum line aptly placed! Now will you come wipe the spittle off my monitor?

(BTW, I missed the thread about your new name–is it after the band? I love “Gorgeous!”)

“Me fail English? That’s unpossible!”

“English? Who needs that? I’m never going to England.”

Just got back from iqtest.com. Took the test in twelve minutes and scored 159. Should have used the full thirteen.

I, too, am a closet nerd with 36.2%

We don’t have SAT’s in Europe - when you graduate your VWO (Dutch version of highschool, which is in our case already split according to intelligence in 4 levels, VWO being the highest and the only one that’ll get you into a university), you can pick a university and go, providing there’s room for you and no “study stop” (govt. regulates studies that amount to unemployment  ). Dutch universities are ‘better’ than American colleges, but slightly lower than Harvard, Yale, etc. For some studies, your grade average is taken into account.

And OK, I’ll never apologize for my poor English again

Guys, IQtest.com may be rigged. Here’s an experiment: Why don’t you all go over there and choose a bunch of random answers like I did? It’d be interesting to see if anyone scores below 100.

I don’t think it’s rigged. You just don’t know the WRONG answers (therefore, the right ones have escaped you as well) .

I completely flunked it and scored a dazzling 60 IQ. Yee-haw !! I, too, can be an idiot if I put my mind to it !

Hi, my name is OfficeGirl and gulp I have an IQ of 147.

Is there a twelve step program for this kind of thing?

when asked once if I had an IQ test and what was my score, I replied, " What does it matter. As long as I keep my mouth shut, I’m smarter than you."

According to the Mensa Test-O-Meter about two years ago, my score is either 146 or 150 depending on which of the two scores you care to believe. Personally, I like 150 better, but only because that means in World of Darkness stats, I can fill in all five dots under Intelligence.

And only a dork with a 150 IQ would think about that.
