Hasn’t done anything for 8 years. But God, I love her work.
She has only one unofficial website as I can see. And it’s Geocities. So if more than two people click the link, it’ll be out of biz till three weeks from now.
Eve Matheson. She played Becky Sharp in a mid-'80s version of Vanity Fair and I thought she was wonderful–lovely, charming, deceitful little bitch, everything Becky Sharp should be. I see on IMDB that she’s worked intermittently into the '90s, and yet she never seems to have gotten another big role after this one.
The gorgeous and talented Paula Prentiss. I don’t know why she didn’t have a bigger career, or why she’s not playing the mother on some top-rated TV show.
Gerrit Graham. He was ROTFLMAO hilarious as Beef in “Phantom of the Paradise” and also great in a supporting role in “Used Cars.” A quick check of the IMDB shows that he’s done a lot of roles over the years, but probably mostly character work that didn’t get his name well known. He’s pretty damn funny if he gets halfway decent material.
I was going to say Heather Burns as I haven’t seen her in anything for ages but according to IMDB she is still working. You might remember her as the innocent blonde Cheryl in Miss Congeniality or as Meg Ryan’s assistant in You’ve Got Mail.
Gabrielle Anwar - Scent of a Woman/Things…Denver…Dead Julie Delpy - Killing Zoe/American Werewolf in Paris
I just saw recently a terrible 3 Musketeers movie, but it is one of my favorites because they were both in it.
I’m also a fan of Thora Birch, who appears to have faded from American Beauty to Playboy Mansion Regular. (She has been in every single Playboy for the past year, on the “what’s happening at the mansion” picture page.)
I haven’t seen anything major that Elizabeth Shue has done for a while. I loved her in Leaving Las Vegas, not to mention Palmetto.
But my favorite is Kristy Swanson, who was the original Buffy, and also played major parts in The Chase and 8 Heads in a Duffle Bag.
Kim Richards, my first crush. Loved her since The Nanny and the Professor TV show and the Witch Mountain movies. Even bought the DVD of Tuff Turf just 'cuz she’s in it.
Rutger Hauer was in the TV show “Smallville,” a couple of weeks ago. He was also in “Catch Me If You Can.” I do like his work though, especially in “Blade Runner.”
Marnette Patterson! She has just the best voice and the most absolute killer body. I had SUCH a crush on her when we were both kids and somethign so right was on TV.
I believe Thora Birch does a lot of independent films now, but don’t quote me on that. She made Ghost World in 2001, a most excellent film if you haven’t seen it.
