And before I sound like a whiny kid who thinks she’s owed more than she earned… I made a 212 on the PSAT (National Merit cutoff was 216 I think). I got a 2100 on the SAT- 1400 on the Math and old Reading sections combined. I’m taking more than the required number of IB exams. They ask for 6- 3 higher level and 3 standard. I’m taking 5 higher and 2 standard, and poised to do well on all of them. (Some of the components are graded already and I’m doing more than fine.) My volunteer record, extra-curriculars and rec letters are all fine. I’m just being held back my parents who keep changing their plans at the last second.
