The 2006 Weight loss club - February

Chocholate chip cookie dough counts as soft. Oooo, wait, this is *supposed *to be the weight loss club. Sorry.

I’m down 4.5 pounds since last Saturday. I weighed myself this morning after getting out of bed and the scale read 208.0 exactly. Yay.

I also joined the Y two weeks ago and finally made it there for the first time on Wednesday night. I’ve not been back since but now that I know it’s not a nightmare experience, I will start going three to four times a week soon. Maybe even starting tonight.

Initial Weight: 360 lbs
Current Weight: 208 lbs
Goal Weight: 150 lbs

152 down; 58 to go.

that’s fantastic! when did you start tracking your numbers? how long did it take you to lose the 152?

It wasn’t until last month’s thread that I started keeping a record of my loss from week to week (I weighed myself before but only shared milestones with friends) and have been on my current diet since last January, so 14 months so far.

I ate like crap last week, but I guess the week before’s odd scale thing caught up to me - I was down 1.2 pounds. This week I am determined to stick exactly to plan, and I’m definitely on track for that, so far at least. Having a cold helps, I think it’s the only time ever I don’t often FEEL like eating.

Exercising is still going fantastically. By the end of the week I’m supposed to run 20 min straight, and I think I’ll actually be able to do it.

178.2/169.6/somewhere below 140

180/169/155

BMI 27.31

Dammit - I put a pound on.

However, my running program is going great guns, as is my weight lifting program, and my belt size has decreased, so maybe it’s just muscle mass. Here’s hoping.

As of Wed 2/22 I was 334.2 A loss of 9.2 pounds from the prior week. That loss knocks out the cumitive 4.6 gain I had the prior 3 weeks and an additional 4.6 to meep my weight loss at 2.25 lbs per week on average which is just where I want to be. At this rate by my birthday I’ll be on roller coasters again for fun and my weight won’t be a roller coaster

Weekly weigh-in: This week, -1, YTD, -8.

I totally wasn’t expecting any loss this morning – went out to dinner last night at a seafood place in South Philly (Italian neighborhood). My friend – who’s also supposed to be on a diet, harrumph – and I split this enormous dish of lobster, crab, and scallops in a creamy pink seafood sauce with sundried tomatoes, served with pasta (rigatoni, maybe), garnished with a few dollops of ricotta. Oh. My. God. This was seriously, mind-blowingly, excellent stuff. And we asked for a second basket of bread. Totally take no prisoners.

Sorry – guess this isn’t the nicest place to linger on these details, is it? angelic smiley

Anyway, after doing justice to that last night, I wasn’t expecting good news this morning, so I’m a happy camper. Another week or two and I should be under 200 again for the first time since I quit smoking. Yay me!

I spent the weekend with some crazy bitches and drank and ate too much. I won’t be weighing in. I will instead give my last Friday weight, which was 10 pounds down from January 1. Foul, I tell you.

The March link is now open.

If a kindly mod happens to run across this thread and closes it, that would be great. But if not, no worries.
