The 2016 is almost over MMP

Home from the final. I waited because his professor had two sets of final information. One set said the deadline is today and the test is two hours. The other said the deadline is tomorrow and the test is four hours.
It looks like the deadline is today and the test is four hours.
Sah-son is pretty sure he blew the test and so he’ll probably get a B in the class.
He is bummed.

McD’s for lunch.
Now it’s irk time for me.

Nappage has been achieved. No I have not been asleep for two and a half hours. I napped and then got the blower out to get leaves out of the garage yet again.

Sari a B? Have you disinherited the slacker yet?

Howdy all. Lazy day here.

Swampy how is your Mom?

Welcome home, sunny!

Yay on getting back in the balloon, spidey!

I heathenized today. The choir pieces went well and we received a new name: The ToneBlenders. We had lunch, then I came home, changed into some jeans, chaps, boots, sweatshirt and leather jacket and went out on the bike. I stopped and took pictures of the cotton harvest at the historic plantation that’s on my way to irk (note: they went with modern harvest methods). It was interesting, as I’ve never seen it done before.

There are collards on the stove, corn muffins just out of the oven and the mixed navy and pinto beans from yesterday that will soon be warmed for supper. I have a project to finish in the studio afterwords, then sloth.

Dunno. I never saw the critter. They swore they could smell a monster in the back yard. They couldn’t see it either til they got out there. I just assumed it was the cat. She torments them on a regular basis. Coulda been a racoon or a possum or a republican for all I know.

In other news, I finally paired our little bluetooth speakers to the Echo Dot. Works pretty well! Gonna keep my eyes out for bluetooth wall switches and outlets now so I can turn lights on and off and stuff.

Butters mom is doing pretty good, thanks for askin’. She’ll be eighty-eight on Tuesday and well, with that comes health problems she’s never had before which has been a major source of frustration for her. However, she is comin’ more and more to accept some limitations and less and less minds bein’ waited on by her children. Since sis and I met her approval with Thanksgivin’ dinner, she’s lookin’ forward to the feast we shall prepare for Christmas.

I have been goin’ through closets again this afternoon. See I am a shirtaholic and even after the purge I did in September still have a lot of shirts, some of which are brand new and never worn as of yet. JDD mentioned that one of the social workers at the nursin’ home where his folks live told him some of the residents don’t have many clothes, especially some of the men, and even then especially shirts. So I have embarked upon an ever further thinnin’ of the shirts and those of good quality still will go to Dawson Manor. I am, if you will, “bearish” in build and have noticed many men of similar build there so I shall ensure that they are stylish.

ETA: I want to go eat at red’s place.

Home from enjoying my day off; back to a double tomorrow. We went through a snow storm to an auction of an amusement park circling the drain. They decided to sell off some old signs and broken ride pieces they will never use to try to raise some cash to survive into the next summer. (Conneaut Lake Park in case anyone is curious) Everything was going for a lot more than I wanted to pay which was good for the park, bad for me, and so-so for the Old Wench. But I have a feeling there will be other auctions in their future.

I’ll keep him for a bit longer Swampy, but he’d better not be making a a habit of it

He really gets upset with himself.

I want to lay down on the couch but a certain unnamed pest is stretched out and looking comfy. I hate to disturb him. Strange, he almost never gets on the couch and if he does it’s just for a little petting and then he leaves.

It’s only a little after 7, it feels like it should be 9 or 10.

Sari looks like Cat has done a good job trainin’ you.

**Bumbazine ** Many Many thanks for the tortilla soup recipe! I make it tonight & it’s really really good!

All you need now are some potatoes and tomatoes.

I worked, it was cold. It got cold in the store, even. Tomorrow starts the extra hours ,so I get to stand around in an empty shopping center for an extra hour.:dubious: I’m making smoked paprika poke chops with sweet **N.O.T.]/b]s, and jalapeno corn.

A B? He’ll barely make magna cum laude at this rate.

Many years ago (the first two digits were a one anna nine), me & a cow-orker from corporate (Baltimore) were sent to Mississississississississippi for irk. One night, we drove over the river into LA on some rural road. There was cotton crops agrowin’ so we stopped to pick some the ol’ fashioned way, which we believed included the singin’ of spirituals whilst doing said pickin’.
(It was only a handful each but then we were smart enough to get back in the car & get outta there before we were caught.)

Walk in closets?
Iffn so, when you were done did you come outta the closet; which would make you  gay !

::Checks::
Nope, still not old.

I heard my Father call it, “Magna come loudly.”
What the hell, the man won the second world war, he and a few million other guys.

Wait… I’m WHAT???
[sub]Spidey’s right. It. Just. Never. Gets. Old.[/sub]

big kitty, supper definately wasn’t vegan. This is the south, therefore, in the interest of authenticity, both the greens and the beans required the sacrifice of a pig and the corn muffins contained both cow juice and murderized baby chickies.

Beddy bye time. swampy I am glad Mom is accepting some limitations.

I miss Rosie and the bear should get the **Rosie ** award for donating shirts to the nursing home.

Hoping for a good nights sleep here.

I just found on in FB that a guy I used to work for died.

Now I feel bad for mostly ignoring him. I didn’t really dislike him so much as he fired my friend who worked there and it hurt her feelings if I was nice to him. Though in the long run he did her a favor because she got a better job.

He was also a bit rude and crude, one night I walked in the door and he looked over at me and said one night I’m going to bite your nipple off and chew on it … he was a crazy man and drank way too much.

He loved his pugs though. I think he had 5 of them.
I wonder if they will need homes.

He said what now?! Crazy is right. Wow. That’s a firing offense most places these days. Nice of you to think of the pugs though.
