The accentless MMP

For the fish fry!

Damnit, where’s Swampy when we could use him?

I got a big bag of old man food for the dog, and got my eyeglasses ordered, they should be ready next week.

Dear Flytrap,BITE ME

            Sincerely,
            **dogbutler**

:stuck_out_tongue:

Spidey, it’s after Lent, we can deep fry a turkey.

I’m just looking to make a buck.

Personally, I am annoyed by by folks using it in a business situation, like email. “I regard your correspondence the same as I do the funny papers.”
:dubious:

You have one of those old Tarzan movie cannibal pots that we can put flytrap into? Cool.

Arachnids and dog butts are so wonderfully free of the ravages of intelligence.

Holy cow.
There is a guy working for my insurance company whose job is trying to find how to kick me off the list.

They give you a coupon if you spend $3k? :dubious:

Read. Did not retain. Am tired. Wishing you all a rosie’s sig and going back into my cave.

Yes, $10 off you next $3,000 life saving drug.

Perhaps they will put it on Manager’s Special.
I pay the pharmacy $110.00. I don’t pay $3,000 a month insurance. Hell, I don’t make $3,000 a month take home. :dubious:
The pain Doctor can get it for me at about the same if I have no insurance.
Can you imagine how much money the pharmaceutical (hey, that got past my spell checker!) company is making?

I’m not defending drug companies, but between the cost of developing drugs and the cost of lawsuits, frivolous or otherwise, ya gotta wonder how much profit they actually do make. Altho when Lipitor went generic, my copay for 90 days went from over $120 to about $25…

I had to turn the thermostat back on - it’s going to get COLD tonight, and tomorrow night, and the next night. Stoopit weather!

**FCD **figures the anesthetic has finally worn off. He’s been on the couch with an ice pack for hours. But he won’t take pain meds. I don’t understand it, but I can’t do anything about it… he’s just a tad stubborn.

I think I need to sleep with Mel tonight. * <yawn>*

I get to drive **FCD **to work in the morning. He’s not ready to drive, but he’s not going to sit home all day again. He’d better stay mostly sitting at work. Or at least not climbing on roofs and stuff.

Meanwhile, I think I’ll mosey back to bed with a book. MWAH!

I think this money could be spent better, like feeding hungry people and buying Spiderman beer, but what the hell.

Just get a doe and glue some antlers on her? You could also use one of your strap-ons to ---------- :stuck_out_tongue:

We prefer the term “theologically sound bovine” actually.

Anything else animal I can help you with tonight?

I may pick on you (well, actually there is no “may” to it) but I do feel for you as well. This month was the third time on 6 months when I had to call my doctor and say “You know that med you want me to take that’s absolutely vital to the future health of my heart? How about second or maybe even fourth best? With my current insurance I can’t afford best and anything else - like food or shelter - combined.” In the past I had great insurance that covered everything with no deductible and only cosy me $196 a month. Now since things got all affordable I’m paying $206 for a $5k deductible that basically covers nothing I have. Neither my doctor or myself have quite adjusted to this new circumstance yet.

Dinner is cooking(asian BBq chciken with green tea ginger rice ,and a salad with wasbi soy dressing). Watching more hockey. Alas, there are new dirty dishes in the dishwasher.

You are merely covering your ass to prevent my witty, intelligent rejoinder.
But you may sleep well. As I posted up thread, I refuse to join in a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent.

If you haven’t already, try contacting the drug company directly. Sometimes they will help people in situations where they can’t afford the meds they need. The manufacturer’s hope, of course, is that you’ll get better insurance and continue to use the meds.

There is often a rebate program for specific meds, as I have learned while seeking treatments for Sunny-son’s ADHD/Autism fun pack. The way they seem to work is they guarantee a fixed cost to you of $X a month for the med, say $25. You sign up, get a card you give to the pharmacy in addition to your insurance, and they put through both payment requests.

It’s worth looking for your med and manufacturer online to see if there’s a program like that for you. They have helped us a lot. Even with insurance.

Rarely do I sleep well and I’ve carried concealed for ages. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve tried that option now and then over the years and it worked for me on one for a while. But there were issues with their clearance for the reduced fee arriving in time for the refills. And the way my body handles chemistry, going off and on doesn’t work out too well. I’ve had better luck getting Doc to track down a rep from the company and scoring a boat-load of samples or rig something up through them. Just had no luck either route the past couple years.

Don’t get me wrong; I love our President and I’d probably vote for him again if he could legally run. I’m just one of those people who drew the short straw over the ACA.

Up, caffeinated, off to work.

Reported!!

It’s obvious that flytrap’s account has been hijacked & taken over by a (not very believable) imposter!

Other than that, Jawja has weather today & southern Merrylande has an overinflated yipper-yapper. You now have your morning update so you can begin your day, mumpers.
