I’m posting this to anounce to everyone intreasted that the Ladder season is comming to an end. The ladder reset will be on Aug 8th, This Monday. That means we need EVERYONE back so we can start over, and become the richest team out there.
Remember, Monday, Aug 8th, Ladder Reset. Please join us on USWest and we will have a GREAT time going thru the game, the way it was suppost to be played.

West SC Ladder. We’re doing pretty well right now, mainly thanks to Chronos and iampunha but the latter reset is comming up, and that means we have to start all over. Come join us, we can use all the help. When we play we play in game sdmb password cecil
Alright folks, as Hirka T’Bawa already mentioned, it’s time for a new ladder season! Punha and Chronos are technologically-challenged for the next few days, but I had a discussion with P on instant messanger and he suggested I post our team strategy here so we’re all on the same page.
We’ll be making, by priority:
Each of these will be on its own team account. The new team accounts will be sd2-team, sd2-team1, etc. We’ll pretty much be remaking the same team accounts from last season, so the Convadin will be on sd2-team, etc.
So we need people to build these characters, and we need to coordinate who is building what in this thread. I’m probably most comfortable with the fire sorc, but I can build one of the others if someone really wants to build her. If you’re unsure how to build any of these, you can either ask in this thread or email [EMAIL=sadpunk@gmail.com]Punha.
If you’ve been wanting to play Diablo 2 on BNet with a friendly, mature group of players, now is the time to jump in. It should be a blast.
I’m assuming your Convadin is a pally with conviction as the main aura a la Boss. I’ll offer to take him. Plus the Fire Sorc will have better luck with a conviction pally next to her.

Yeah, the Convadin is pretty much a rebuild of Boss. P also offered to build the barb, which would probably be best with the computer/connection problems he’s been having.
With the reset, my brother has (finally) agreed to move over to West, although he isn’t likely to be much of a regular player. I’m more likely to be able to join in on a scheduled basis and would like to handle one of the Sorceresses. The build punha had me working on on East was a combo Orb/Meteor; I expect I can handle the Blizzard/Meteor build without too much trouble.
When’s the first game?
What with the new ladder, I might start playing US West. In which case, I’m planning to build a Fire Sorceress for my first character. Not sure of the account name yet, I’ll post it once ladder resets and I log in.
We don’t know what time the ladder will be reset, but we’ll be on sdmb///cecil as soon as we find out it’s been reset.
Now I feel left out. I quit D2 when I went into WoW, I don’t even have D2 installed anymore. I really enjoyed the last ladder reset, my skellymancer was very popular to a USWest community with 100,000 sorceresses during the first two or three days.
Although I’m not going back to D2, I do miss you guys. Tell punha I said “hi”.

Yes, do a ladder character. There is not much diffrence between a ladder and a non-ladder character. There is a ladder that is reset occasionally, last time was last August. When the ladder resets everything on the ladder becomes non-ladder, and the ladder starts over. Its like starting on a completly new realm, everyone has nothing, and stuff is actully worth something. Personally, I can’t wait till the ladder resets again, it was the most fun I’ve ever had playing
