spooje - not sure what to make of the Cards this year. Great lineup, mediocre-to-below average pitching staff. The score tonight was Cardinals over the Rockies 15-12, and we had to come back from an 11-6 deficit to do it. Overall, we’re 4 and 2, and those 2 losses were 1-run games coughed up by the bullpen in the ninth.
(Just if you didn’t know, don’t start me on baseball unless you really wanted to hear an answer. )
CrunchyFrog, you and my Dad would get along just fine. He almost breathes the Cards. I usually don’t watch the games unless I’m actually at the stadium.
So we won, huh? When I turned off the TV, it was still 12-12.
spooje, if you like I can forward you all the e-mails I get about gaining a prime penis.
I’ll watch the games if they’re on. If they’re not on and I have access to a radio, I listen to the games. If I don’t have a radio (at work or something) I follow the score online. I’m a junkie.
Not sure about your dad, but if you’re interested I can show you my balls sometime.*
*[sub]My autographed baseballs. I have a collection of 34 with signatures ranging from Ted Williams and Joe DiMaggio to Derek Jeter and Jim Edmonds.[/sub]
KCSuze - no I don’t have one from Big Mac, but I kinda-sorta did at one time. My ex-fiance had a crush on Mac, so I got one for her birthday a while back, thinking we would get married and I’d just sort of meld it into my collection. Turns out, we broke up and since I gave it to her as a birthday present, I can’t very well ask for it back.
Ruby - I won’t be making it to this year’s ChiDope since I have no funds and no way of knowing for sure if I’ll get those days off.
KCSuze (again) - Turbo is either referring to this thread which was started because of a sig line I used to have (and since forgotten) but I think it’s most likely about this thread which had its title changed from “My open zipper, Crunchy’s balls and his big wet ass” due to a request that we exercise a bit more decorum in our posts. The latter thread, btw, I just re-read, and at the risk of being narcissistic (which I am) I have to say I like my reason for not recognizing Tequila Mockingbird, who I had met a couple times before. She was wearing a hat.
