The Beatles Rock Band Final Song List/Release Anticipation

It does have the XBox button on it. The console is isn’t acknowledging it at all, that I can tell. I synced the mike all right, but never got the option to sync the guitar. If I have enough energy tomorrow, I’ll take it back to GameStop and see if it will sync up with their console. I’ll probably have to wait a couple of days, though, I’ve been out three times this week and that’s about one time more than I really should…and I’m feeling it.

To sync your guitar with your console, turn the console on with your gamepad, then press the small “sync” button on the front of your console, and then press the small sync button on the side of the guitar. When the two devices find each other, only one light on the Xbox ring of light on the console (and on the controller) will be lit, and you will be able to play. Sometimes it will take a few tries to get this right.

Got it?
Is this a used controller or a new one? I forgot, where did it come from?

Everything except the mike is new, and I’m gonna try that as soon as I finish up all these windows that are open, thanks. And everything’s from GameStop.

Success! Sort of. The guitar is now synched to the console (I thought my husband had hooked it up and synched it, he DID set up the console and hook stuff up to it as part of my birthday present). The “sort of” bit is because I need a lot of practice on this controller…my playing sucks. But I’m happier, and I won’t have to go to GS now.

Thanks very much.

Don’t forget to calibrate it for lag! It’s very easy, just choose the automatic option. The quick way to test if something’s synched to a XBox is to pick it up and hold down the XBOX button. If it’s synched, it turns the XBox on. (or off.)

A guy once recovered his stolen XBox that way: walking up and down the floors of his dorm pushing the button and listening to hear the startup noise.

Has anyone been able to turn down the individual volume for a particular instrument or the vocals? In regular RB you can turn the in-game vocals all the way down to “off”, which some of my friends prefer as they get more drinks in them.

In RB Beatles I couldn’t find volume sliders for either drums, bass, guitar or vocals; just sliders for music, crowd noise and special effects. I hope this isn’t a new trend for furure RB games. Maybe it has to do with the fact that up through the White Album, all the master tracks were mono?

I love this game. “Dear Prudence” is such a great song. Sounds like it could have been written this year. I was spending my non-RB time learning “Black Bird” on guitar, but I now have a new favorite to learn.

You can’t turn the vocals down all the way–however, I do believe there is an option to reduce its volume a bit.

Stories like that are why I love this message board. And getting vital info, that I couldn’t get from XBox support, is why I love most of the posters here. Thanks.

I finally got in some play time today (solo vocalist), and my opinion of the game is: squee!

Man, that is just fun. I love the unlockable stuff, but singing along is a thrill. I just have to keep focused enough on singing and not get caught up in watching it like a music video!
