The best Gentlemen's Club songs, or

I’m veering off the rock path, but just about all of the “Purple Rain” album a la Prince is strip-able. The actual song ends the album, and makes a nice endcap to the festivities. Special notice goes to “Darling Nikki,” the freak-nastiest song ever.

I saw a male stripper (please don’t even ask) do a pretty good routine to “Expression” by Salt-N-Pepa once. He did this fabulously randy move during one part - everyone in the bar just about fell over.

And of course, the blazin’ pimp of strip songs, Mr, L.L. Cool J: I recommend “Doin’ It” for lyrical meaning, “Back Seat” for the grind and “Hey Lover” because it’s perfectly suggestive.

All these posts, and not one vote for Def Leppard’s “Pour Some Sugar On Me”? For shame!

For another upbeat song in the same vein (as opposed to the slower stuff like “Let’s Get It On” or “Leave Your Hat On”), if you can find it, Motley Crue has a song called “She Goes Down” from the Dr. Feelgood album. The lyrics are here:

::slaps self on forehead::

You are absolutely right! That would be perfect. Can’t believe I forgot that.

RE:Prince - ‘Cream’ is pretty damn erotic, too…

I have an entire CD by My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult entitled Dirty Little Secrets (Music to strip by). Pretty much everything on that makes me wanna get naked.

I’d be happy to share some samples if you’re not familiar with their music–my IM is in my profile.

Ok, I’ve got a couple, which could shorten to a mere “Good Luck” post by the time I’ve read everyone’s else replies.

Sexual Healing by Marvin Gaye
You Can Leave Your Hat On … Tom Jones version

I can’t really review your list because I’m only familiar with the first two song on it. I like Aerosmith and you can never go wrong with Marvin Gaye.

I once saw a lady dance to Madonna’s “Frozen” which I would not have thought would work too well, but the dancer just loved the song and really did a fine job with it.

And Alanis might be appalled but one of the best erotic dance songs her song, Would Not Come.

On further reflection I realize that might have deeper meaning than I want to go into.

As a recently retired nudie bar DJ, I think I can give some input on this…

All of the suggestions so far have been excellent. Was kinda surprised how long it took for “Pour Some Sugar On Me” or any Prince song to get mentioned. My couple o’ pennies:

From the original list:
Use the remix of “More Human Than Human” found on the Supersexy Swingin’ Sounds CD. Everything else sounds good.

Crease’s Additions:
Aerosmith-Don’t Want to Miss A Thing
Prince-Gett Off
Madonna’s version of Love Don’t Live Here Anymore
Poison-Talk Dirty To Me (cheesy, I know, but it works)
Guns N Roses-Sweet Child O Mine
The Commodores-Brick House
Rick James-Superfreak
George Thorogood-Bad To The Bone
Clarence Carter-Strokin’
Oran “Juice” Jones-The Rain
The extended version of Fascination Street by The Cure

And there are probably 100 others I can’t think of because I’ve heard them so many times I just want to forget them.

The most important thing, tho, is for your SO to find a song (or 2, or 5, or 50) she knows and is comfortable with. She’ll be more into it that way. It’s the first thing I’d tell new dancers–dance to what you know and like.

And, Lexi, getting your SO to strip for ya is not boring–you get to keep the 20 bucks and don’t have anyone (like a muscle headed bouncer) watching you. For a real thrill, try keeping your hands off her completely till she’s done. That can get very interesting.

Happy stripping!

Check out Maxwell, super urban groove funky sex muzik!

Some of the early Van Halen songs (off their first 2 albums) might be good!

Oh, how soon they forget.

Have you folks never heard of the Ohio Players? God, their album covers were hot enough, but the music inside…whew.

Playing the song “Fire” will actually result in spontaneous combusion so do keep an extinguisher handy.

No, we used to play that song in College and the Drum Major would strip down to his skivies during the games. That was a riot.

I’ve got to put up “Rock you like a Hurricane” by Scorpions, I saw a girl stripping to that once and it was good

I have to add: Head like a hole by Nine Inch Nails.

Bow down before the one you serve
Your going to get what you deserve

How about:

“Personal Jesus” by Depeche Mode
“I Need a Dirty Woman” by Pink Floyd
“China Girl” by David Bowie
“Relax” by Frankie Goes to Hollywood
“Flesh for Fantasy” by Billy Idol
“She’s a Beauty” by The Tubes

(What can I say? I did all of my strip clubbing in the mid-to-late eighties. I’d like to think that “Personal Jesus” would really smoke during a strip, though.)

Doesn’t it all depend on the dancer though?

All but one that I’ve seen sort of undulate out of time with the music, so it didn’t really matter what was playing.

However, the one girl who actually danced, put Will Smith’s “Wild Wild West” on the list of “Songs which will make me smile”!

One of the sexiest songs that I’ve ever heard is Voodoo by Godsmack.

Yum.

Very primal.

In a strip club the faster, upbeat rock songs that have been mentionedare good. But for a um…private showing, A girl dancing to nice, slow, slinky Jazz will knock you on your ass. I don’t really know enough to name many names, but Cab Calloway’s Minnie the Moocher from (as seen in Blues Brothers) is a good example well known example.

This was the very first song I thought of, it’s a definite strip-song. The other one that pops into my head is “Kiss” by Prince. In fact, tons of Prince songs would work. “She’s a Peach” is a good one too!

Man, this revised list shit is a bitch! Anyway, it was cool.

And I have one addition. If anyone has ever heard of Eminem and Dido, or reads Rolling Stone, or listens to pop radio or is in any other way in touch with music, you know that Eminem sampled Dido’s Thank You on his latest album for his “song” Stan. In any case, the sample kicks ass. So, since I have both albums, sufficient know how, and proper software and all that, I took the sample and remixed the whole damn song. Eh, that is, I mean I remixed Thank You, Dido. It’s pretty cool, and it will make you want to get naked. It’s pretty simple, actually, as the whole song sounds like the opening to Stan, Eminem.

But we’re not done! Keep 'em coming! If there is ever a dope convention, I will burn a collection of these songs and my SO0 and I will open a booth and sell them for kisses.

Oh, this is excellent. I’ve never been asked to strip, but if I ever do, I have the perfect song for me. I’ve figured it out ahead of time, and even tried to imagine what I’d do. The song is Forbidden Love by Madonna. The first time I heard it I was convinced it was a perfect stripping song. Every time I hear it, I think about it.

My SO and I haven’t been together too long, so I haven’t sprung this on him yet, but I know it’d blow his mind!!! I’m so glad lots of you think about this, too.

Heard one coming home from class today that I’d almost forgotten about: “So Alive”, Love & Rockets. Ooo, I can just imagine how a woman could swivel her hips to that beat…
