In this thread Czarcasm had a great closing for a “no OP” thread. This got me wondering, out of all the Moderators and Administrators, who has the best comments in closing of a thread?
Rules: I don’t want this to get ugly. Please restrain yourself from posting anything that is going to start controversy. I don’t want THIS thread to have to be closed (but if it does, I do expect some really good closing comments).
Damn, that WAS a good one. I’d never seen that before.
This wasn’t a thread closing, but it’s my favorite warning.

I started a thread thinking it would be interesting to poll folks as to their choices of witty comebacks to challenging insults. I thought of straightforwardly asking the poll question but then I thought it would be more fun to just post an insult and challenge the reader to defend her/himself.
Czarcasm didn’t think it was funny.
So, I started a new thread in which I was a little more direct in my questioning. The second thread survived but there were still some folks who did not take it in the fun nature in which it was intended.
