The Big Bang Theory- 04/27/09

How did Sheldon brush his teeth? It seems like he’d freak out over something minor like missing a tooth brushing.

You forgot to mention that Sheldon is a fictional character while Jim Parsons is a real person.

I’d have to agree. Sheldon has made a lot of progress at being more flexible, but they definitely glossed over all the consequences of unexpectedly getting locked out of your apartment overnight.

The show has been picked up for the 3rd & 4th seasons.

[Cue Kermit the Frog voice while waving arms wildly]YYYAAAAHHHHHH![/Kermit]

Wow, a two season commitment? That’s great!

Charlie Harper is a fictional character and Charlie Sheen is a real person.

Sometimes that line is very very thin.

Right, but, you know an actor can be into Star Trek and BSG and stuff, and then it’s easier for him to go out and act like a person who is into Star Trek and BSG. Like Hugh Laurie on House - he’s a musician and so is his character. What I’m saying is that Jim Parsons said that he is totally not nerdy or geeky IRL at all so it’s not like he’s totally understanding everything he’s saying from the script.

But he’s an actor, and I’ve heard actors research their roles sometimes…

The instant it became clear that the gang was headed for Vegas, I was 100% convinced that it was going to be a vehicle for Sheldon to devise a means to beat the house. I was half expecting a spoof of the movie 21.

Slight highjack-what are they saying after scissors and before Spock on “rocks, paper, scissors, - - - - -, Spock” I missed that episode. Thanks.

Rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock.

lizard!

Here’s how you play it.

WOO HOO /homer

Thanks guys-it was bugging me!

I don’t buy it. You almost have to be a little bit nerdy to appear in a show like The Big Band Theory. Especially to be playing an ubernerd of Sheldon’s proportions.

(bolding mine)

Is it the one where a Tommy Dorsey split into two Guy Lombardo’s ? :stuck_out_tongue:

How dare you, Sheldon and Penny are the soul of the show everyone else just reacts to those two.

I happen to agree with Simplicio. Sheldon’s flanderization is painful to watch… which is a crying shame, since there’s so many other stuff the show does well.
