Sheldon’s my favorite character, but they really need to watch it so he does not become totally over the top. I think every character needs to have the potential for growth. Sheldon seems to be regressing a little.
Anyway, how obvious was it they were not in Vegas. I guess they did not want to pay for a location shoot, but they could not even spring for the stock footage?
If you consider the fact that Sheldon spent the night at Pennys with no preparation, I’d say he’s progressed very much. He had no clothes to sleep in, none of his normal entertainment, no toothbrush, sleeping in a strange (but I bet nice-smelling) bed.
Really it seems a bit unbelievable that he wouldn’t have complained and freaked out over everything, but then again the show is only 20 minutes.
I noticed the show tends to be light on big scenery. The transitions are always the molecule graphic and the outdoor scenes are limited to mostly sets or green screens.
You’re right, that does show progress. I was thinking more in term of relationships with other people.
Although I suppose the “Thank you” shows growth, but it is negated by the “Get out,” immediately following.
Yeah. I was actually wondering if he was starting to become aware of the social practicalities - that he wasn’t in his preferred environment, but still better off than if he were sitting in the hall, and that Penny wouldn’t be shy about throwing him out if he really did complain too much.
