Yeah, but she HATES being a sales rep, and the PR job would probably allow for more advancement in the future. Also, the PR job might come with things like end-of-year bonuses and stock options that the sales rep job doesn’t have.
In a way, sales rep is a sort of dead-end job, because she trades on being able to flirt. She’s going to outgrow it. If she gets the PR job, she could be looking at staying with the company until retirement-- albeit, she will probably have to finish school.
There was more after the commercial break. Basically it was just Stuart at the park trying to get friendly with the other Nannies. He was dropping a word or two of Spanish, while they chatted openly about how weird he was, and “What kind of person would let him watch their kids?”
It went on to them hypothesizing that he’d stolen them. When he introduced himself, one said to the other “Write his name down, we may need to give it to the police.”
It has been established that Sheldon will lie when it suits his needs (i.e. having people drive him after he got his driver’s license, claiming he never got it).He obviously felt that admitting he got such stage fright that he could take the lead in Annie would make him look bad.
And remember Sheldon’s drunken speech? One of Jim Parson’s finest moments. Especially when he was watching it.
All in all one of the most boring episodes in a long time. They are just phoning it in these days, banking on guest stars for any zip. And still another season to go?
