It would be hilarious if in the last episode they all moved out of the building and the elevator got fixed.
Last scene as they’re walking out of the building for the last time:
Leonard: Hey look! They fixed the elevator!
Penny: Son Of A Bitch!

Leave them on.
Penny thought “We’re on the fourth floor - therefore there are four flights of stairs.” Leonard (who probably has done enough programming to be aware of fencepost errors Off-by-one error - Wikipedia) knows that being on the fourth floor means that you need to go up only 3 flights of stairs (unless you’re in the UK, where the floor you’re on after you go up one flight from the ground might very well be called the first floor The ground floor and first floor in British and American English – Speakspeak). Penny has to check because she can’t picture the situation in her mind and she’s never really thought about it (when I’m walking up stairs, I’m usually thinking of something other than the number of flights I’m traveling up).
I always like the Raj in the planetarium bits, because Kunal Nayaar looks so good in his suit and it’s a nice change to see him confident and self-assured. I always hoped a woman in the audience would think so, too, and end up being his permanent girlfriend.
But it’s back to Anu next week. Ick.
When did Amy start working at Cal Tech? Or was she always there?
As far as I know, she’s been there all along.
Amy came to Cal Tech in Season 7, Episode 5, “The Workplace Proximity.” I don’t think they ever specified where she worked before that, but they definitely used a different set for her lab than they do now.
She was always in the area- I guess it’s possible she was working at another university in the greater Los Angeles area before coming to Cal Tech.
