The Bundys are at it again.

Maybe some deals have been made?

This site has a copy of the indictment embedded. There’s nothing about number of charges each.

The number of charges for each person makes no sense at all. I think it must be some kind of mistake.

Yeah, I see that now.

That quote with the number of counts came from a random commenter on the OregonLive site, not from the article itself. I know that usually the comment section is extremely accurate, but this might one of those rare instances where someone has their facts wrong.

It’s just a numbered list of the defendants.

Good. They deserve to be locked up.

So Oregon was once part of Great Britain? "

Blaine Cooper gets nothing? That seems kind of wrong. Bruce Doucette and Joaquin demoreta-Folch get to continue to strut around like demented roosters (unless they happen to catch the latter in Arizona and charge him with impersonating a cop). I guess someone will eventually get around to those guys. It seems kind of inevitable.

Good catch. Yes, it looks like a numbered list, not the number of counts.

How many illegal things did these guys record themselves? The 2 that come to mind immediately are Finicum climbing the ladder and stealing the cameras, and the cutting of the fence.

Where did Great Britain get it from?:dubious::dubious::dubious:

For some time, the border in the west was undefined, and there was a sort of informal agreement between the U.S. and Britain that people from both countries could settle and work there. The lead-up to the treaty that settled that border included such things as “Fifty-four forty or fight!” It wound up basically splitting the difference.

Russia and Spain were also mildly involved.

Oregon boundary dispute.

You’re kind of missing the original point that Great Britain had no better claim to Paiute land than the US did.

My idea since the beginning was to encircle the building with fencing and t walls, cut off power and tell them to call us when they wanted to come out.

Actually it was a direct copy-paste from the end of the article; Looks like the reporter messed up and did not understand it was a numbered list. And then I did not read carefully enough.

'They’re coming to kill us’: Armed occupiers live stream to YouTube

That would be comedy gold if it wasn’t so completely fucked up. He claims the FBI is coming to massacre them, then asks their supporters to kill military and law officers if they get in their way.

Which idiot is that, by the way? He seems like he’s scared shitless.

And which is the idiot who sings the twisted version of “Bad boys”?

Before that, Oregon was part of France. The short guy sold it to Tom to fund his adventurism.

Wow, France was HUGE back then. I never knew it crossed the Atlantic.

But wait, before it was part of France, what…oh, never mind.

France was huge even recently. I have a Britannica atlas about the same age as me that indicates that nearly half of the Sahara was part of France at the time.

Still does.
