Wait, I thought we could be banned for having socks.
Psst…That’s because, they’re not organized yet.
I thought we couldn’t speculate on socks here? But their drawers are okay?
::flees::
Those Bundys need to do something entertaining. Soon the riveting spectacle of Elendil’s Heir tidying her sock drawer will be over and we will be reduced to thumb twiddling and tuneless whistling.
Well, Ammon gave an interview yesterday from jail in which he says…well, not really anything even remotely entertaining.
I’m sticking with the socks.
The Tuscon rally was today. Looks like a handful of people showed up and blabbed for a while, no big whoops.
Here is a map of dozens of protests planned for tomorrow. Lo and behold, there’s one in my area. I live in a red state but I can’t imagine there will be many people there, 2500 miles from Oregon. I will be taking my daughter and her friend to the zoo at that time and the rally will be on the way. I might swing by and take photos, but I’m not sure there’s a good place to stop. I don’t really want to have to find a place to park and walk closer with 2 kids intent on getting to the zoo. We’ll see.
What does this even mean? It does not sound like this was a counter-protester, rather an “arrival to the Warden camp”. How is Roy Warden a “drag queen patriot?”
Does anyone really have all the facts or is this just opinions regurgitated from main stream media?
Why all the hate toward these people?
Not saying the Bundy’s are right, not saying they are wrong but what I do know is that a man was murdered (Pinkerton Style) under direction.
This scenario has played out several times through out our nations history especially in the mining towns of the Appalachia where I am from. It’s part of my family history.
Mining companies hired Pinkerton goons to escort scabs to the mines, now days these mercenaries go by many names that are subsidiaries of Blackwater.
As a result the Anti-Pinkerton Act of 1893 came to be to prevent the Government from hiring paid mercenaries to perform their dirty work.
Granted the mining companies are a private entity at least back in the day, but it is common knowledge that these lands in Burns, Oregon and surrounding areas contain loads of Uranium and other minerals which the Guberment may want to mine later so they need to maintain control over it, so allowing ranchers cattle to openly graze may one day get in the way, has nothing to do with the desert tortoise or any other form of life which may need protection.
As a reference read Martin Armstrong’s 86 year cycle. This book is very informative as to what is occurring today.
My point is it seems these Guberment funded cooperate institutions are now using these goons to protect their interest, however if the people try to protect their interests then they will be labeled wackos and dealt with accordingly.
Murdering this Levoy person was a huge miscalculation in my opinion and yes I realize that my view is not a popular one but until the facts are brought forth in the court of law this will be where i stand.
If I am wrong someone please tell me what is all the Federal interest in this particular part of the country where all the alphabet agencies and private contracted killers are deployed?
Land, minerals, wildlife or something else? Or is it because someone decided the Bundys showed their asses and must pay?
You can see the guy arguing with Roy near the end of the video in that link, starting around 8:45. It’s not clear what they’re arguing about, and the “drag queen patriot” remark doesn’t have any context (maybe he’s bothered by Roy’s man-bun?). Neither of them sound entirely rational, so I think looking for meaning is a fool’s errand.
You are wrong. The interest is in the fact that the Bundy’s don’t own the land, but were using it and refusing to pay. Can I use your yard for whatever I want without paying you?
Or just go back to whatever whack-a-doodle fringe-flag rock you crawled out from under.
cool story bro
You’re going to have to tell us where you heard that private contracted killers were responsible for Finicum’s death.
That’s not why a man died and you know it, so please think before your brave little fingers type something else childish
I think you are overstating “all the hate”. There has, yes, been a little hate. A few here have expressed violent sentiments, even so far as prison buggery, but most of the content of this thread has been mockery. Oh, and some of those fact things. We may not have all of those things, but I think we have enough to make a fair assessment.
And quite frankly, most of us consider their agenda a bad idea. Privatizing large swaths of public land will not improve anything except, maybe, for a handful of tycoons. The government is not perfect, but it is still almost certainly better than a likely private owner.
Then, we have had a lot of fun mocking those guys’ hammer-heads. This action involved a lot of planning before they undertook to make a move. After they bravely stormed the empty buildings, everything they did was pure slapstick. Putting all the leaders into two cars for a trip up to John Day was the apex of arrogant bad planning, which cost them their freedom.
So, if you want to describe mockery and pity as “hate”, I think you are really reaching. That word seems to have become a dogwhistle that almost always identifies what kind of person is using “the hate”. Hint: typically not the kind most of us hold in high regard, FWIW.
No.
He tried to draw a gun on law enforcement.
A man died because he reached for a gun while being pursued by federal agents. A man who frequently said he wouldn’t be taken alive and was known to habitually carry a gun.
Please do share your version of what happened and why.
Possibly with some evidence.
Judge Gary Darvy (Gary.darvy@.us)
Major Steve Bomar regional commander defended the use of private contractors on federal land stating that the Governor request authorized.
There are also many videos of media interviewing these contractors denying they were part of FBI or BLM.
Well this is going to improve the entertainment level. Though only briefly I suspect.
