Finicum dying is not good. There’s already a story circulating that he had his hands up and was surrendering when they shot him. I have no idea if it’s true (I’m very skeptical) but it looks like he’s going to be a martyr for the movement.
The guy who has a gun at all times and said he would not be taken alive was unarmed and surrendering? Yeah, not buying it. But unless there is video footage to show otherwise, this is the story that these wacknuts will circulate in their wacknuts circles.
Are they really going to use the Hand’s Up Don’t Shoot argument?
Hopefully, the FBI was smart enough to have dash cams recording so we’ll be able to dispel this rumor (which I’m assuming is a rumor; if he was in fact shot while surrendering, it would be disastrous and the officers in question need to be prosecuted.)
There are reports that the one who was injured and taken to the hospital was Ryan Bundy.

Jon Ritzheimer managed to get home before the crackdown. I wonder if maybe he was working with the FBI and made a deal to get out before the arrests.
I see he’s also asking for money for an attorney. Why would a sovereign citizen need an attorney?

Dash cams (unfortunately) won’t make a bit of difference. People who are disinclined to believe the official statements of the FBI will just claim that any dash videos have been doctored/faked.
