Don’t know what’s going down now (it’s about 0530 there an I presume the authorities won’t be doning much in the dark), but it appears at a distance as if the Feds/police have decided enough was enough and if the Occupiers want trouble, well, they are prepared to accomodate them.
I think we’ll see a lot of them heading home (or to custody), using the excuse “Since the Feds are willing to murder us, to prevent further bloodshed we’re ending our occupation.” or some such excuse.

Study the “Copperheads” from the Civil War; they were Northerners who sympathised with the South and made great noises of breaking off parts of the North from the Federal Government–reason you never hear of them is that when the crunch came, they took stock of what they had and what they could lose and found reasons not to act.

Here’s a more believable account of the circumstances lading to Finicum’s death. He tried to escape by car, then when he got stuck in snow, he got out and charged police.
