Not I - haven’t been on in almost a week. I should have Muz ready for level 85 fun by next Monday though.
I’ll be online tonight if anyone wants to run some 5-mans. Keyne is heroic-ready if we have a group for that; if not, Kene (84 priest) needs to run some regular 5-mans. He’s been levelling Shadow so his healing might be a bit out of practice.
Muz is 1 point shy of having good enough gear to barely qualify for heroics; a couple guild regular 5-mans would be good.
Moobird is 40% the way through 84 and he’s my highest lvl char. So that’ll be my fun this evening. There’s a bunch of dungeons I’ve never been in yet.
Kalathan hit level 85 over the weekend - I’d love to run some instances tonight. She’s probably not geared for heroics by a long shot though…
I’m gonna try…but my home computer is having trouble logging on…I talked to Crease Monkey and he said that others are having the same problem. After perusing battle.net for solutions, I’ve updated drivers, DirectX, and even reinstalled all 4 disks and I still get the Critical Error #0 at log in. It was CE #132, so I guess I’m going in the right direction…probably will give those guys a call to find out what I haven’t tried yet.
Rahuul’s in tonight as well. I can heal or DPS as a Moonkin, so whichever one works for me.
Good runs. Glad I focused on Moobird instead of Rottingbird. I was able to tank HoO in a pinch. Thanks for a great group since I was only 84.

Sorry I missed it guys, I really wanted to run with you but I thought an hour and fifteen minutes was going to be enough time to run the second half of Deadmines on Keyne first – I was way wrong. Sounds like you had a full party anyway though. Congrats on HoO and 85, Bird!
Good to know Moobird is a viable option as a tank; that first run was fun, but I was pretty wiped out. Thanks to Waxoff (dunno his Doper name) for finally giving me a usable strategy on that last big trash pull in Vortex Pinnacle. (That would be the guys who are standing inside the shield; the strat is obvious once you’ve thought of it: just aggro them and run away until they step outside their shield.)
I’m still building him primarily as a boomkin, because that’s what I’m most comfortable with. I don’t really see myself tanking PuGs, because I don’t want the headache. I love tanking guild groups, cause when I screw up I know I won’t get booted.
Plus I’m trying to build guild/faction rep and to do so, I’m going to need to quest and I don’t mind sitting in a long queue if I’ve got something to do, like questing or Arching.

I’ll be playing from my laptop, but last night the perfomance seemed okay so hopefully it won’t be much of a handicap. Hopefully we can get a group to try out some heroics; if not I’m up for running some regulars if folks need them.
I’ve also been having some computer issues, and I’ve just plain been out of town and otherwise spending time with my gf for these three weeks before she’s off to another town for a few years for nursing school and it will be more difficult to visit her than it was last semester. School is starting next week (well… this Thursday) so I should, semi-ironically, be on more starting then. Hope everyone’s been doing well.
Did a guild heroic last night, and discovered that heroics are hard. Wound up in Shadowfang Keep with Muz tanking, Keyne healing, and Ragemode, Makig, and Cornballah dps’ing. Took us 3 tries on Ashbury and 2 on Silvermane, and then we wiped multiple times on the third guy whose name I’ve apparently blocked out before moving on; by then it was getting a bit late and when we wiped on our first try on the alchemist dude I (Muz) dropped out; don’t know if they managed to finish.
I’m leveling my alchemy so we can work on getting out flasks up. But I need some gems and I haven’t gotten around to leveling my Miner. (Lightbird) Could some kind guildie help me acquire some gems? I’m happy to pay market rate, just would prefer paying guildies instead of AH.

15 Nightstone
15 Zephyrite
15 Alicite
Are those common or are any of them like Titanium from Wrath?
I have the recipes for some of the flasks already, just need to farm mats for more. Can’t wait for Cauldrons! (Fine, I also want to transform into a dragon!)
All of those gems can be Prospected from the lowest level of Cataclysm ore: Obsidium Ore. Your best bet is to buy a bunch of stacks of the stuff and have a JC prospect it for you. I’d help, but I’m guessing you don’t want to pay $50 to transfer a mule to Area 52 and back just for some green gems.
Well if it’s the lowest caliber, maybe I’ll send my miner into hyjal or vash and just make some mining runs. I’ll still need the JC though, and thanks SFG, but there’s a max miner/jc somewhere in the guild. I hope:)
I noticed the gems I’m looking for are pretty expensive, I wonder if the ore is also as expensive.
