Jagaya is a JC, but has not yet even begun to level the skill.
That said, I should be able to prospect Obsidium Ore for you if you want. Just send me a tell (on Jag or Darland) or an in-game mail.
Be sure to check ore prices vs. gem prices - you might find it more profitable to buy the gems than the ore.
Rahuul’s alt DK is a JC with a skill of around 480, so can prospect both obsidium and elementium. Also, Rahuul is maxed out in Alchemy, so I can contribute to flasks. I’ve just been trying to build up gold supply by transmuting volatiles first.
Yeti is a JC, if he ever gets his computer problems solved. One of Shin Kell’s toons (Kahmu?) is a JC also.
Anyone going to be around tonight and want to run some 5-mans? I need to do heroics (for Keyne) or regulars (for Kene).
Yeti was around on Wednesday; shipped him a buncha obsidium so he might have some gems still sitting around.
I’ll try to be on around 10ish tonight. I can either run normal/heroics as boomkin, or run normals as tank though i’ll give you fair warning that I haven’t tanked on my paly since wrath’s 96969 days.
My Jewelcrafting is at 507, so I should be able to help you with some of the stuff your asking for. I can give you the 15 Alcite, got 30+ of them, I think I have enought Zephyrite to cover the 15. Three Hessonite?..No problem. It’s that damn Nightstone that I am out of. There is a JC daily that asks for 3 Timeless nightstones that I have been getting for a quest every other day. I have 0 nightstones atm, and that’s after Muz gave me his obsidium to prospect. I believe I usually get about 1 nightstone per stack prospected, so 15 nightstones might be a little costly. I usually see elementium ore cheaper in the AH than Obsidium ore as of late and you may get better yields of nightstones by prospecting elementium ore. And then again, maybe not. But do compare prices in AH before you go buying any ore, if that’s the route you are going. I’ll be more than happy to prospect your ore and make cuts if you need them.
Yeah…here’s the thing. My home computer is the currently on the border between FUBAR and POS. Still need more time with Blizzard rep to resolve…SO, I’ve been going on my work computer (don’t tell my wife…she’s the co-owner!) to do some dailies and some AH and even fishing for the Volatile Fires that have been funding my BS and JC skills. I usually go on for a couple of hours in the afternoon…likely on weekdays after 3pm PST for an hour or two…I will mail you what I have from your gem list and if you need something prospected, mail it to me or if you’re on…just invite me to group up and do everything on the spot.
This weekend (including MLK day - Monday), I might not be on at all since I will be home unless I find a reason to be at the office (which will probably not happen). So, unless I resolve the computer issue, I won’t be back until Tuesday. But I will try to be available this afternoon for an hour or two. When I am at the office though, I might be AFK here and there, so be patient. I usually try to pay attention to guild talk and whispers when I get back from some task.
The blue, green, and purple Uncommon-level gems are used for JC dailies. The orange ones are used for one of the only trained (vs. purchased or dropped) recipes that JCs can use to level past a certain point.
The initial investment for enough ore to prospect everything you need might be steep, but if Cairne’s economy is anything like Korgath Alliance or Area 52 Horde, you should make a chunk of it back on the leftover gems that you sell, as well as having the eventual “cost” of each gem be much less than if you tried to buy them individually.

As a side note for all the BDLers, I’ve placed a bunch of extra potions in the guild bank…grab away! Especially since I’m having trouble finding room…except on our glyph page. Should we clear that out? Or are the coppers I’ve been sending to the gbank adding up enough to buy a new tab?

It’s Monday, are folks up for some guild runs tonight? I mostly focused on my baby shammy this week (they grow so fast, sniff) but I’m hoping to run Keyne/Kene through some 5-mans (heroic and regular, respectively) tonight.
You know, I’ll bet we have plenty enough money for a new tab; we never spend it on anything as far as I know. We should, however, promote someone to vaultmaster who can do some cleaning out/organizing of the other tabs.
I should be up for a heroic or two, or regular if that’s how things turn out.

I saw Yeti took up Vaultmaster promotion. Is he gonna clean us up?
Kene can d/e any gear we don’t need from the vault, and then we can either sell the mats or put them back in the vault for folks who need them for enchants or crafting skill leveling.
I can heal/DPS heroics as Rahuul, or I can tank/heal/dps normals as either Anleroth or (pending hitting 85 today) on Panzera and will be around tonight.
We didn’t have enough folks for heroics last night, but we ran a couple of regular 5-mans to help gear up. Muz tanked Tol’vir with me (Kene) healing and Makig, R-bird and Rahuul on dps. I can only recall one wipe, due to a trash pull where someone got feared into another group of mobs.
Then Muz and Makig had to go, so R-bird swapped out for is tank Moobird and Yeti joined us as dps, and we picked up a pug shammy to come along in HoO. Wiped twice, I think, but overall it was a successful run and we got some good upgrades.
I’ve got to re-examine my healing strategy for Kene though. Unlike on my pally, Kene goes through mana so fast that I have to be doing something wrong. Part of it, I suspect, is that I’m still using too many Flash Heals (although they seem necessary) and part of it is that I need to enlarge my mana pool.
It was a fun run. I forgot to watch closely for it - are we getting guild rep for these runs, or only on heroics? Regardless, running the normal was a good choice to build our heroic capable roster, and also to help me up the success rate on ‘square means might or might not be cc’ed with a freezing trap.’
It seemed to me that I only got guild rep when I turned in the dungeon quests. I only got faction rep for the kills.
You can’t get guild rep by running dungeons in your guild tabard, can you?
I got into a bit of a “ehh it’s only normal, we can zoom through this” mindset and wasn’t very careful about pulling the patrol that goes up and back the street full of merchants on the way to the third boss, so we wound up fighting them and the 4 pack of mobs near the entrance to the street, which didn’t turn out so well, though we took 2 of the 4 out.
It also didn’t help that my wife was trying to have a conversation with me at the same time.
