My son has joined Cub Scouts and the first pack meeting is tonight (and the last Monday of every month). I should still easily be online by 9 server but not as early as I usually am.

And re: Maelstrom Crystals — I think I’ve pretty much ensured that I’m going to find Zin’rokh very soon, because my human paladin on Lightbringer just spent an outrageous sum to first purchase the Landslide weapon enchant formula (5 Maelstrom Crystals) and then enchant her 2-hand sword from Tol Barad with it (5 more Maelstroms, 5 Heavenly Shards, and some dust and essences).
In a bizarre twist, the Maelstrom Crystals (75g-80g/each) were cheaper than the Heavenly Shards (85g-90g/each).
Note to self: check Cairne AH prices for heavenly shards.
Yup, there’s a huge glut of Maelstroms right now, whereas the Shards and Essences are in comparatively short supply.
If you’re looking for a way to dump extra JP, on the servers where I’ve recently had reason to check, it works out slightly better to buy Essences than Shards. But you’ll want to do the math for your individual economy.
I have a lot of time to play tonight, so if anyone will be around to grind out some arena matches let me know. Often I’m all alone on Friday nights :(.
I haven’t played my Hunter in forever. If I have time, maybe I’ll try to come level her for a few hours! Won’t be able to play together, but I can at least be some company in gchat. 
What level is your hunter? I have a 40+ and 60+ and a 74. I’m not a definite tonight, but if people are around, it’d be fun.
Goodness gracious, it’s been so long I’m not even sure. 50-something, I think. Probably 55-ish.

Hey, I also have a 56 warlock I haven’t played in a couple of years, probably. I could even dig her out of mothballs if there’s no one around for my mains to play with. I’ll be terribly rusty but at that level it won’t matter.
I think I only touched the Hunter since 4.0 once to redo her Talent points, so I don’t think I even know how to play her with the new Focus system. We can be terrible together!
I’ll try to get on tonight at a decent hour for some arena. Getting close to the chest piece for 2200 CP.

Just FYI, I won’t be on tonight with Rahuul/Rahmon after 9:15pm EST as this starts my last work week before vacation. Hopefully y’all get enough to at least run some of the T11 raids!
Everyone must have had some holiday stuff going on, as Kalathan and I were the only ones around by 9:10 (and Makig showed up sometime after). We just queued for a heroic and landed in a mostly uneventful Vortex Pinnacle run.
By the way, I hate it that they’ve nerfed the use of Mind Control in VP. Now if you MC mobs off the ledge they just respawn after a few seconds. :mad:
They did? That is incredibly depressing. That was one of the few things that made H:VP fun anymore.
Yep. It’s still marginally helpful to MC a healer if your party is short on CC, but you’re better off spamming Holy Fire or whatever spell they have at the tank’s target instead of taking a swan dive over the edge.
Skammer and I (Kene & Yeticalayla) went 8-3 in arena matches last night to max out our CP!
Sometimes we took out teams rated 100+ points higher than us!

I’ve been PvPing on my sub rogue a bit, and today I hit a BG with my arms warrior for the first time. Both are much more fun in PvP than my ret paladin, that’s for sure. I think it probably has something to do with the fact that the rogue and warrior both seem to constantly have some kind of attack available, whereas the paladin is more “Whack-waaaaiiiit-whack-waaaaiiiit…”
Yep, most other teams seem to adopt a strategy of “kill the priest first” (that’s what we do too) so if I can stay alive long enough for us to kill one of them, we usually win.
