I checked my WoW toons on the armory and everything looks okay - I have an authenticator anyway so I don’t think it was anyone using my inactive account.
I have an authenticator, but my account is currently inactive (cancelled on Feb. 26) and I probably won’t be back until MoP is out, so feel free to demote my toons just to be safe (I rarely withdrew from the GB anyway):
Donoma (the tauren paladin)
Jabloo (the troll hunter)
Quixil (the goblin priest)
I’m pretty sure those are my only remaining toons in BDL - I deleted everything else. They all appear to still have their stuff (as do my toons on other servers), so I’m pretty sure it wasn’t me who got hacked.
Just checked my toons because I currently don’t have an authenticator installed, but everything looks completely fine on Rahmon and Rahuul both. Not missing any gold/items/truegold/enchanting mats. I’m gonna go ahead and re-download the authenticator for my ipad just to be safe.
I’ve had an authentication for a while, and all four of my BDL toons are there and have all their stuff.
I’m traveling and visiting family for the next week+, so I won’t be able to participate in the Friday night raid this week.
Did anyone find out who got hacked?
I have an authenticator and all my stuff is in order, but it’s sure a weird feeling thinking somebody may still have access to someone in the guild.
No, not yet…I thought I could look at the roster on Battle.net and compare it to our in game roster to see who was missing, but I didn’t know soon enough to access the Battle.net roster before it got updated…everything in game is listed as “Unknown”, but nothing on Battle.net told us who left…Blizzard probably knows (just a guess), but we don’t have access to it.
My WoW toons don’t show up on the armory, but I think that’s just because they’ve been inactive for too long. My account hasn’t been activated at all since I left, and I’d think that that if someone had hacked me and then used some kinda cheapo two-day pass or something it would show up in the account history.
I was a bit worried because the hack coincided with free Diablo weekend, which meant that I touched my battle.net account for the first time in months.
Also, come to think, I can see that my toons have been demoted within the guild, so they must have been there to BE demoted.
UPDATE:
I noticed tonight when Blizz reinstated the toons that were deleted, Makig and Kregethos were used in the hack. Sending **hdc_bst **a PM to give him the heads up.
Shin…I noticed that some flasks are still missing from the g-bank…did Blizz send them to you yet or just missed them?
hdc_bst does not receive PMs. Will mail him in-game.
Ok…Makig and Kregethos are currently not reassigned to the guild (by Blizz), but Hruufnarna, Vulthrek and Togrizzix are still in as ember puppies…there may be another toon or 2 of his that I missed, but I am assuming that they too are still ember pups.

Yeah I missed them, they were added to my own stack of flasks when I got them out of the mail. I put them in the Gbank, hope I got the right tab.
Heads up for Friday, I’m now tentative, leaning towards ‘not gonna make it’. I have to help out my family and just can’t be sure when that’ll end. Too bad cause I think that rogue will hit his legendaries that night. Good luck if I don’t make it.
Wow, I haven’t been logging in to WoW for a while due to RL reasons, and just checked this thread out.
Boy is my face red. I’m glad y’all were able to recover from the hack, sorry for my poor security leading to it. I’m really not sure how it happened, other than no authenticator I regularly practice good internet safety. Time to up that a lot it seems now.
I’ll try to log on tonight to make sure none of my toons are still in the guild - it looks like I won’t be able to play for the near future and can just be invited back when I’m ready to play regularly.
It’s awesome to see the Dogs up and running regularly, I’m just sad it didn’t coincide with my playing window.
Wow, Blizzard GMs are pretty cool. I haven’t interacted with any since the hacking, but on checking the e-mail account tied to my Battle.net account, I see that I have a whole stack of Blizzard e-mails. Included are:
- Character moves (the hackers at work)
- Character move failures (the hackers stopped)
- Character restorations (GMs undoing the hacker’s dastardly deeds)
Hopefully a dog will be online tonight when I get a chance to login so I can move dead gold on my mothballed characters into the guild.
You can mail the gold to doggiebanker…that’s where I am storing the majority of Rasz’s riches. I do have an authenticator.
But don’t mail too much - it might look like a goldseller transaction.
Now I have to list Yeticalayla as a tentative tonight…my wife and I have to help her dad who may be a victim of elder abuse…don’t know when I will be back tonight. Promoting a few people in tonight’s raid.
Created about 80 flasks after farming for several hours tonight, to go towards the mix master achievement. I dumped the flasks (except for some of the draconic mind ones, since my two mains are int users) in the guild vault. Sadly, due to the hacking, I don’t have withdraw access to take some of the mats on the Herbalism pane out and create more.
If anyone wants to help, so far, the limiting factors are 1) Volatile Life (the biggest limiting factor); 2) Twilight Jasmine (used in several of the more useful Flasks); and 3) Azshara’s Veil. I re-specialized Rahuul with Elixir Mastery so he occasionally procs anywhere from 2-5 flasks per attempt (got a x5 on Flask of Steelskin tonight). We’re only about 410 flasks away from Mix Master and the alchemy cauldron bonus (which equates to about 3200 more volatile life and approximately double that in herbs if I were to have rum luck and get no elixir master procs along the way).
We are (as of 5 minutes ago) now at 787/1000 flasks, which is about 270 more than we started with this weekend. Only 213 flasks to go. 
We’ll get it done soon Jay…My time on WoW has been severely limited this weekend due to my time spent with my FIL and helping him through this tough time he’s going through.
Also…we are at least 2/3 of the way to Guild Lvl 25!!! Keep doing those 5mans and if we can scrap 8 guildies together, we should at least do an easier 10man for the 3 million (plus bonus) guild xp!
