Actually, now that I look at my post again, it doesn’t sound any different than hunting season in rural Manitoba; the only descriptor that’s missing is ‘drunk’.
I don’t think being a Freeman precludes being drunk. Some of their documents that I’ve seen, read like they were drafted after … well, more than a few glasses of draft.
The Blue Angels are grounded by the US government shutdown, so the Snowbirds take their place. I think it’s quite cool that the US gets a taste of how well our Royal Canadian Air Force flies in an aerobatic show.
Great to hear! I’ve seen the Snowbirds fly many times at airshows in Canada; I’m glad that our American friends have the chance to see them also. Hope they enjoy the show!
I’m here! The results were pretty predictable, The NDP has not really accomplished anything except for raising the prices on pretty much everything and the Harper government doesn’t know we exist, so a Liberal majority was really no surprise. The lesser of three evils this time, until they mess everything up over the next three or four years.
Apparently this was the first time in over 130+ years that the voters of Nova Scotia didn’t give a second term to a first term government. That must sting a bit.

Given that the First World War didn’t start until 1914 and wasn’t something a lot of people saw coming, you sure have to hand it to the anthem guy who was thinking that far ahead.
