Okay, I’ll nominate you for next year. ![]()
On this last day of the year, I had a look wayyyy back at the beginning of this thread; which was naturally started on January 1, 2013. I noticed (and recalled) this suggestion:
There weren’t really any responses to the question, so I though I’d bring it forward.
I like the idea. It looks like Cat Whisperer has the most posts as of the time I’m writing this (468 posts); so, folks, should we let Cat take us into 2014?
sounds good to me!
Me too!
Anyone watching the Canada/US junior game right now? (Bites nails.)
If Cat Whisperer is willing, I think that’s a great idea!
Everyone to the east of Calgary will have to wait until it’s 2014 in Alberta. Can’t have 2013 on an exclusively 2014 thread, thereby destroying the space-time continuum.
I started this one at 10:30 Toronto time, which was midnight in St. John’s, NL. That way, it was 2013 in Canada…
The time and date on that post says 12-31-2012, 09:29 PM on my computer.
I’ll bet we’re in a timeline other than the one we were in before that post! Maybe the 2014 thread should wait until the new year Mountain Time.
I don’t think we need to worry about this. I am already destroying the space-time continuum by studying programming in French. ![]()
Well, screw the space-time continuum. There are more important things to send shivers up my spine:
Winnipeg colder than Mars. Not a record-breaker, though.
Cat hasn’t been around since about 2 pm this afternoon, so she may not have seen the brief discussion up-thread.
I sent Cat Whisperer a PM; in her response, she said ‘Yes’.
Just curious, but how did you even tabulate that Spoons?
Minions. It was probably minions, while Spoons relaxed in a comfy chair.
On any thread on any one of the forum pages, if you click on ‘replies’, it will show you how many replies for each poster, from largest number to smallest.
Well, son of a gun.
I had no idea.
Ignorance fought!
ETA: Thanks!
I’m back! We went out for wings and beer, and then I drove my completely-loaded husband home through the driving snow. Went out, had beers, had wings, had poutine, had nachos, had dessert, and home and in my jammies by 10:00. I think this could be our new New Year’s Eve tradition.
Now I’m going to go start a new thread for the new year.
ETA: I didn’t have beers. I had club sodas. Just to clear up any DUI implications.
Happy New Year!!!
So long 2013. And good riddance.
Bye, 2013 - it’s been a slice.
