When I let Higgs out, I heard lots of dripping sounds - it stayed above freezing overnight, so meltage continues - yay! It’s supposed to rain/possibly snow later today, then drop to 20° tonight - boo!! - but starting Weds, we get a stretch of upper 50s/low 60s. Dare I hope spring may come soon??

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 46 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 52 and sunny. We are gettin’ a gradual warmup startin’ with mid 60s tomorrow and will get up to upper 70s by next weekend. Then it appears back to highs in the 50s again. Thus the fight betwixt Winter and Spring begins. I also see yellowish stuff in the pine trees. GRRRRRRR!
Last night was nice. 
There are six chawklit covered strawberries left. They are hyyyyyuuuuuuuuuuge. I had two. OYKW et four. If he has his way, he’ll have three or four for brekkie, the spoiled brat. Seriously. He would. What the heck. They need to get et up.
Hope everything went well Midget! I’m sure it did.
Butters we had a nice steak dindin and champagne last night. GMTA!
Plans today include gettin’ some cheap chawklit. That is if’n someone I won’t mention gets up before ten a.m. I figure if we don’t get out this mornin’ we won’t find much. Then again, if we do, we do. If we don’t we don’t. Either way it’s all good.
Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy is demandin’ sustenanance. Purtification should also commence at some point, I suppose.

Happy Saturday!
Yesterday was interesting. Amongst the happenings included a trip to the Y after which I came home wearing a light coat, shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes. Then I proceeded to get the car stuck in the drive. (Our drive is 300ft long, a hill at the street, a hill at the house, and falls off steeply if you get off too far to the side.) So, after changing clothes I spent the next two hours digging it out and getting restuck and unstuck and restuck, etc. I finally managed to make it to the garage. The thing that frustrated me most was the number of people driving by and not a single one even slowed down to ask if I needed help.
So, today is going to involve a whole lot of nothing other than relaxing and taking naps.
We’re off on a cheap chawklit hunt. Go Us!

Back from some early erranding. It’s raining and the car is sitting out getting a fresh water rinse by Mother Nature. We might get snow later, but I hope not. My plans for today include a lot of crafts, and I’m thinking about doing something with shrimp for supper - maybe scampi?
We’ll see how all that goes. Meanwhile, I need a sweater - it’s chilly in here and I’m starting to sneeze. ugh.

Back from cheap chawklit shoppin’ and N.O.L. at the good Chinese place. OYKW said he wanted to treat me to N.O.L. there. AWWWWW!!! Anywho, we scored some Hershey’s Kisses, some Hershey’s Miniatures, includin’ dark chawklits (for me!) and four of those heart shaped Russell Stover’s boxes of chawklits, which are pretty much for OYKW as I’m not real wild about those. So, a pretty good haul. Especially the six bags of the Kisses and six bags of Miniatures and the two bags of dark chawklits. We should be sugared up for a while. 
OYKW is takin’ a nappy poo. I may join him, or not. I’m all willy-nilly that way.
We have leftover steak from last night. They were biiiiiiiiiiiig tbones. I’m thinkin’ cheesesteaks and fries for dindin.
Snowing on us, too, but this won’t stick. Thank Og.

I went to the soup or market at the other end of the center & got some chawklit & some VD cookies that were only $1 but neither place had conversation hearts. 
I have a job application filling out headache. Ugh. I think I’m done with that for at least a couple of hours, if not for the day.
On the bright side, I ran across a particularly bright individual in my university’s career center and I’ve just sent her an email asking for advice.
Alternating rain and snow for the last few hours. Nothing is sticking, but boy is it miserable out there!! I’ve been watching freebie on-demand movies for the last few hours. My afghan is done and I’m almost done a pair of mitts for my FIL. I’ll get to the stencils eventually.
Still trying to get it in gear. Must take back recyclables and face taxes and laundry today. Dreary overcast with supposed rain later.
Mom and her bf are back from Florida and they treated to Chinese food for N.O.L.
The snow has stopped for now. It’s kind of a blah day around here. I think maybe a short nap and then back to irk.
