I have been gigglin’ and laughin’ almost uncontrollably for the past twenty minutes over this.
And on that note I believe I shall go lie upon the bed and watch me some teevee until sleepy time.
Nitey Nite Y’all!

I think **swampy **has the right idea. I think I’ll mosey back and bury myself under the covers.
MWAH!!!
You say to layer in the ingredients sans glass. Are the peas on the bottom first, or do you put the ingredients in in the opposite order?
Speaking of Heston and Ben-Hur, Heston said in his autobiography that his first offer of a part in the movie was for Messala. Then he was told he could have either that role or Judah. Then he was definitely offered the part of Judah. He got a copy of the script to his friend ChucK Connors, to read for the role of Messala, but it didn’t work.
Can you imagine how different that movie would have been with Heston as the bad guy?
We have a 2-loaf French Toast Watch for overnight Wednesday-Thursday.
I’m already planning on working from home Thursday, and if I do, I may not be back in the orifice for close to 2 weeks. Sounds like a win to me…
Without going into details, I’m a bit under the weather. Hopefully it’ll clear up tomorrow. I found a pill for my condition.
I think I’ll go hit the piano now. I wanna play with the Hungarian minor scale…
Heston never realized he was playing a gay character, according to everyone else in the movie. I need to rewatch Ben-Hur with this in mind, might make it a more interesting movie.
I’ve been giggling over this squirrel for the past week, yet I’ve just now remembered to save it in my favorites.
[QUOTE=swampbear;17093212OYKW thinks he’ll be tied up tomorrow as well, [/QUOTE]
I hesitate to mention it, but are you absolutely sure that he isn’t spending this time with some cute little Black girl?
There are a lot of them in the South.
I’m just sayin’.

The front door lock broke when I left the insurance guys, they came and went, to buy dinner at Kro-jer.
Fortunately Mrs. Plant (v.3.0) was locked in the house rather than outside. She went out the back to smoke.
I found the broken part, the tongue that goes inside the door at the hardware store for $7.00 instead of $30.00 for new locksets.
Oh, the Joy Of Living In The City Instead Of The Woods.

No word from the contractors, but the Insurance Guy was quick enough to give us $1500. I’m sure that is less than the contractors want. I’ll probably do it myself; I like laying masonry. It is very calming and fulfilling.
I just have to do it after freezing weather and before the Spring storms.
Mrs. Plant (v.3.0) is very happy with the Banggai Cardinals. They are very active, taking frozen food right away, and the Pajama Cardinals, so detested by Swampy  came out to play with them.
At Home Despot, two guys were standing over a box of something. I am a guy, and hesitate to ask directions, but I was anxious to fix the door for Mrs. Plant (v.3.0). “Where are the locksets?”, I asked. First guy stared at me. I looked at the second guy. “Locksets?”
He replied, “Lock- sets?”

I cringed. “Door knobs.”
He brightened and even smiled, “Oh, Aisle Seven!”
G-d help us all.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes! Inventory day, so I just stood around for most of the day. It might snow, so I went and bought French Toast. Watching curling now.

I’d love that,
:dubious: You have insulted my honor, madam!
I read that as “RT and I made out in the driveway.” Sorry about the job, and I hope you’ve avoided deocculation.

Gosh I love reading the scientific forecast notes from the weather service:
In short, possible 15" - 30" snow in DC Thursday. No wonder the station started reserving hotel rooms for the staff.
I am sure I would have done, if you had any! Or was that dignity? I don’t believe I have either, and probably no principles as well according to my friends.
Blurf. It’s heaving down outside again so I am feeling very happy that the roofer came and fixed the leaky bit yesterday. The weather forecast today said we would enjoy two more days of stormpocalypse and then we can look forward to snowmageddon later in the week.
I’d better stock up on the makings of French Toast.
From this morning’s forecast update:
Yay.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 50 Amurrkin out which is also the high for the day with a fifty percent chance of rain. Of course, with me goin’ down to the southeast forty this mornin’, that probably ups the chance to a bazillion percent.
gigity that sounds like one major biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig ass storm! Y’all be safe up that way. Sounds like a lot of French Toast makin’ will be done.
BooFae I have honor, dignity and principles. It’s the morals that are somewhat lackin’.
flytrap you fixed the doorknob. That’s almost as manly as fixin’ the terlet! Also, OYKW is spendin’ time with auditors. All auditors are ugly no matter how good they look.
Since I am headed southeast, I shall leave from da cave rather than the orifice this mornin’ which means I can relaxate for a little bit. Plus also, I can go leave some soup and stew at OYKW’s place and head on out as his place is practically right on the way,
Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. Then, alas and alack, purtification for irk must commence.
Happy Tuesday Y’all!
More snow coming. Polly Subaru is defrosting. Here’s hoping the roads are dry.
Morning all,
I am so over this stupid cold. Its gonna be a long slow day at irk. Mr. Jynxsters cancelled our v-day dinner reservations at my request. Melting Pot (FONDUE!) had a fixed menu, over half of which I didnt care for so we are rescheduled for next week and going to my favorite sushi on v-day. I get two restaurants that I love. WIN!
Have to go to work, but it’s cold as hell outside. And yes, when you live in Montreal, you believe that Hell is cold.
up, caffeinated, and off to work. Looks like we’re getting 30 hours of snow/wintery mix. : waves French Toast and snow shovel at sky :
Boofae, I haven’t had principles since I graduated from Publik Skoolz.
Blurf.
I have my last pre-op clearance today, this one with my primary quack. Six days until The Big Divorce[sup]tm[/sup].
Frakkin’ promised snow.
I love those signs. I have yet to see one give me useful information. Route 80 has a bunch that are constantly telling me about Silver Alerts. I wonder how many of these people just went to the movies or something without telling anybody, and everybody freaks out because Grandma is not where she’s supposed to be. Roomie says when I get old, she’s going to call in Silver Alerts on me all the time, just to wreck my day.
I tried to watch curling last night. I had the Wikipedia article open in front of me to help me understand what the hell was happening, and all I could see was a bunch of guys bowling in extremely slow motion. None of them even fell down on the ice, which would have at least made it entertaining. I still don’t understand what the hell that’s all about, but at least now I know what the brooms are for. Wikipedia assures me that there is technique and strategy that I’m just not comprehending. I decided I’d rather watch dudes hurl themselves down an ice slide at speeds I don’t feel comfortable driving at.
Big Snow comin’ tomorrow night. I could hope for Thursday off, but I’m not counting on it. I’m on vacation all next week, anyway.
