Captain Ed never claims that there are any societal issues. In fact, he seems to be arguing against that, claiming that it is nature (and not nurture) that is the cause of the skewed hate crime stats that justifies his racism. If you check the stats, you’ll see that they’re more skewed accross gender lines than they are for racial lines. According the the Justice Dept. stats I posted, men are 6 times more likely to commit a violent crime but this doesn’t elicit the same “Damn right I’m a sexist” response from him.

And did the USAF really call your son “whitey”? It sounds about as legit as the rest of it.

Until I can tell what the argument is about (aside from the vague assertion that blacks are just bad little inbred whores) I will refrain from arguing it.
but some suggestions:

  1. Blacks are inherently more violent
  2. blacks are naturally less intelligent
  3. blacks are the victims of white supression and are acting as one would expect
  4. Whites are asking for it
  5. Whites are intentionally covering up crimes committed by whites.
  6. STICK IT TO THE MAN!

Capt. Ed doesn’t want to debate at all, he’s just too chickenshit to admit out and out that he hates blacks, period. Instead, he’s trying to justify it by pulling up statistics to “prove” that blacks are bad people and are being coddled by the government and the press to the detriment of whites.

C’mon, stop trying to justify it. Just come clean and say, “Blacks are bad and I hate them.” Throw in reds and yellows too and get it all off your chest. Don’t forget how lesbian feminists are destroying the family unit by encouraging adultery and how handicapped people get the best parking spots.

Sorry, on the births-out-of-wedlock; I did confuse my numbers.
Going by memory from a news report of last year, I had inverted the “white out-of-wedlock births have doubled” to “half of all out-of-wedlock births”.

I did find the trends in this report interesting:

On the other hand, the story of Captain Ed’s son is simply full of holes. He was the top of every class and was given an eight-year wait (shortened to two) behind all the women and minorities? That should be pretty easy to check. In which two years did the Air Force pin wings on no white guys? (Since they were turning down the very best white guys, they have to have had a period where no new white guys got in.)
As to the idea that they came back to him because those inferior people couldn’t cut it, it is much more probable that the number of resignations throughout all the armed forces (based on civilian competition and reductions in military benefits when adjusted for outside factors) would shorten the waiting list in any event.

Here are a few more stat’s for ya Cap…

The national poverty statistics are that about 10.5% of White familes are below the poverty level, while 26.1% of Black families are. 5% of all white familes below the poverty level are married, while 7.3% of blacks are married and below the poverty level.

We see that the median income for black families is $18k a year, while for white families, it’s $27.5k

Of the people that earn over $30k a year, only 27.6% are black, while white’s come in at 47%.

Leading me to the conclusion, that the crime rate of the black population is due to poverty, as was said before, not to any inherant racial characteristics.

But let’s go on, shall we?

This is a list of some sample state’s education statistics.
South Carolina - 83% of white’s completed High School, while 64.4% of blacks did. Of those, 24.6% of whites went on to get a college degree, while only 10.6% of blacks did.

Texas- 77.2% of whites graduated HS, and 83.3% of blacks did. Of those, 23.3% of whites and 20% of blacks went on to get a degree.

California- 79.2% of whites through HS, 84.6% blacks completed. And 24.8% of white people got a degree, while 20% of blacks did the same.

Conclusion?..That the differeances in percentages for HS graduation are fairly small, while the college stats indicate that fewer blacks get a degree. Without having more detailed date, I can’t state why that is so, perhaps due to monetary restrictions, or other reginal regions, but looking at the wage differances are far more separate than can be explained by the education levels.

of the 4,523 hate crimes reported, Anti-Black crimes by whites accounted for 2,336. Anti-White crimes commited by blacks totaled 718. And Anti-Black crimes preformed by Unknown race totaled 1,351

So I don’t know where you’re getting your data, but I don’t see the same correlations that you must. Let me know if you have any actual facts to suport your statements, or are just spouting off random numbers.

Yeah, you read it wrong, Atrael. The correct statistic is that 47% of white males with income made over $30K, while 27.6% of black males made more than that amount. The way you said it seemed to say that despite black males being only 11% or so of the labor force, 27.6% of all people making over $30 K are black.

Doesn’t change you point, though.
