The Congresswoman with the crazy eyes, part II, crazy in the head

They won’t take Detroit back…why would they take Bachmann?

I will agree with you, but only given that we know that magnetism can also be a repelling force…

Myself, I avoid the problem by not watching “news” on television.

I always thought you wrote it…

How about Mao jackets? They have the advantage of being utilitarian. Lots of pockets! When burqas come with pockets, I might be interested…

I wish to goodness I could remember where I stole it. Might have been Rachel Maddow.

So - apparently we’re only a short hop away from a one (or maybe two) child policy:

Now, she did say it was unlikely.

  • whew -

When I saw that, I thought it was going to be a bill to *force *every couple to have a child…

Poe’s Law in action:

Soooo…now she’s in favor of the federal government covering more of your health care?

Well clearly someone wasn’t performing their task adequately or we’d merely have to ask Artist, surely?

Edit:

Or possibly they read something other than Rand or the Bible!

Ya know, I had just been thinking that Michele Bachmann had been quiet lately. Too quiet.

I know what all those words mean, but they don’t make a lick of sense when they’re in that order.

She has found a new way to demonstrate her deep love for this country.

Michele Bachmann becomes a Swiss citizen

I can only hope her next opponent can manage to spin this into Bachmann’s plan to bail out on America before the prophecised Apocalypse.

But is she pro-Swiss or anti-Swiss?

And you thought the clocks were cuckoo! Thank you, thank you, tip the veal…

Another reason to hate those chocolate swilling, watch-making, Alphorn bonging, atom-smashing, UN conspiring, avalanche-blasting, passport-issuing…

…fondue-eating neutrality monkeys?

A sitting Congressperson and former Presidential candidate is applying for citizenship in a foreign country??!!!?? That must be unprecedented. Imagine the Faux News Fauxtrage Firestorm if John Kerry or John Edwards or any of the Clintons had done this. The word “traitor” would be used frequently.

Also, the US doesn’t recognize dual citizenship.

Lastly, isn’t Swiss citizenship really hard to get? I’ve heard it takes years, even for established long-term residents. I guess all you have to do is be married to a Swiss-descended gay guy - much easier than I’d heard.

Apparently having Swiss parents confers citizenship on their children whatever the places of birth. Marcus Bachmann was born to first-generation Swiss immigrants, so I suppose he automatically qualified; and at least according to Wikipedia, someone married to a Swiss citizen for at least six years qualifies for citizenship whether or not she resides in Switzerland. This also requires “close ties to Switzerland”, which I find dubious for Bachmann, but there ya go.
