The Gary Coleman Web-A-Thon

At first I thought it was a parody, but the more I read it, I became convinced it, like the Small Wonder site, was all too hideously real.

Apparently, he is flat broke after his dialysis treatments, and is using this site to hawk everything from t-shirts and cigarette lighters to Gary Coleman commemorative plates.

Don’t miss the “State of the Gary” address (click on the big Gary head!), a RealAudio file guaranteed to set the thickest skin a-crawling. PLay “Gario Brothers”, a Nintendo Mario knock-off, or the “Coléman” where Gary is a Pokémon style tomagotchi.

Very slick, and also very sad.

Thanks for the link but my take on it is that it’s all someone else’s idea. I assume they’re just tossing Gary a small cut of it. But the stuff that works is entertaining.
